Morning all, hope all is well I've wanted to post so often but have been really busy moving house and I've been away, finally all settled feel like I've missed loads of info 😭 I need to catch up, anyway Chamberlain anyone?

{Ed001's Note - welcome back and please no! We have enough players with a poor attitude already at the club. We need some players with real desire and drive, the Ox has none.}

Good squad player but wouldn't be cheap. We need players which can improve the first team and I don't think he quite does that.

Hey ed01, which players would you list as having poor attitude? I am not very observant, so I actually hold a high opinion for most members of the squad in regards of appliaction, though Emre has been irritating in a lot of matches by not doing his defensive tasks with enough vigour (last game excluded) .

{Ed001's Note - most of the squad have problems in that they get their heads up their arse thinking they have done all they need to after a couple of good results. That is why Henderson stands out, as he is one of the few that doesn't do that. In fact it is probably quicker to list those with a good attitude - Hendo, Firmino, Lucas and Couts. I am not including the kids in this, as they are still learning and their attitude will change over time if coached right and they mingle with the right type of players. Get the right influences around them etc and they can learn to not take anything for granted. We have far too many players shouting their mouths off on social media, in the papers etc but not backing up their gobs when it matters.}

who needs action when you've got words eh ed001? lallana and mignolet are 2 of the worst in terms of mouthing off, all the talking should be done on the pitch.

{Ed001's Note - exactly. Arsenal are terrible for doing their talking off the pitch, then going into hiding on it.}

Agree, personally never thought chamberlain should have joined Arsenal at the time but I do like him as a player I must admit, i can see a lot of movement for us this summer.

And how many has Henderson scored for Liverpool? The fact OX has been a hit and miss and primarily used as a sub. He ran the show last night against Bayern. He is physically built and has pace. Better than Can but he is no specialist hence he is always used as a cover. Arsenal will demand big money and I am not interested to buy another "Jack of all trades" player.

We need one specialist CM, Either good in tackling / defensive aspect of the game or has a superior range of passing and knack of unlocking or splitting defense form that deep position.

If you want to spend, spend someone who would bench Henderson or Wijnaldum from first team.

I repeat a specialist.

I wouldn't buy the Ox. We have so many youngsters coming through. I think we need a defensive midfielder in the mould of Leandro Paredes. Then we need to sign Jack Butland.

Why would he cost a lot isn't he into the last year of his contract next season if he doesn't re-sign arsenal will look to recoup what they can £15m maybe.

We need players who will improve us and anyone thinking that Ox will do that, is deluding himself. He like Walcott, Gibbs and Ramsey, have stagnated at Arsenal and will only serve as as nothing but an expensive squad-filler so NOPE on him. By the way, if you are rating the Ox in a game where Bayern pretty much where playing without getting out of second gear then, I'm sorry but that makes no sense. Also, Ox is not better than Can even tho, Can has been here 3 seasons, still developing while Ox has been in the PL since for 6 seasons and won't get any better, IMO. I think both went toe to toe at Anfield and sorry but Can got the better of him and everyone in Arsenal's midfield.
