Ed001 I'm not asking you to name name's but how many of the first team squad do you feel should go in the summer?

In my opinion,

Should go: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Moreno

Could go:
Lucas (game time)
Coutinho (Champions league)
Sturridge (game time)
Can (contract dispute)
Milner (playing position)
Ings (injuries)

That's a higher number than I was expecting. Migs obviously, Clyne, Lovren then I'm struggling unless your counting Can, Moreno and Sturridge which would give you six. On a side note eds. Which of our fringe or youth players can you see getting more game time next season?

I think the likely ones are Studge (which makes me sad), Lucas (no longer the required level), Migs (won't want to be number 2 next year) and Moreno (no route back to the team) .

Lovren will be 3rd CB, Klavan may leave to make space for Gomez. Clyne will not be replaced by TAA but may be by someone else. Milner's here till his contract runs out. Can may leave if Klopp wants a new midfielder.

Although i don't disagree that all those players could possibly go i think Mignolet, Moreno, Lucas and Sturridge will be moved on. Couts will leave if no Champions League.

Ed001, if Clyne went and we added a 'ready' left back (i. e. not one who has yet to play for the first team) do you think TAA as first choice RB, new LB and Milner would provide enough cover for the FB positions? With Juanma as backup for LB? Juanma may very well be ready for the first team, but I would think it would be quite a risk to have 2 young full backs as first choice.

{Ed001's Note - I would think so, depends a lot on the centre back positions really.}

Not supposed to be critical at players but the whole page including the Boss want to move at least 6 first teamers. How on earth is that even possible? You don't move players who are good, Do you?

Klopp has always said that he needs 5/6 players for the first team. never heard him say a thing about moving 5/6 first teamers out except players like Studge, Lucas, Moreno and prolly Migs (per the Ed's)

If TAA is good enough to replace Clyne why is he still second choice? I think the sell Clyne fans are in denial about how ready TAA is.

That's the point Harry, they're not. Not anymore for one reason or another. Plus if you actually look at the names on each list I wouldn't say six on any list were 1st team players.

Move Milner to rb with TAA as back up. Allow Clyne to move on. New 1st choice lb. (Take your pick) . Allow Moreno to move on if Juanma is ready to make the step up. Both fb positions sorted for one addition. 7.

No Milner at right back, give TAA a chance to make the position his own. He's highly thought of, has looked good when he has played and needs experience at the top level to see if he can truly make the grade. The club should be bold and play him - if it doesn't work out then look to Milner or perhaps another player - I want the lad to get a chance though, we'll never know if he's capable if he's never playing week in week out at Premier LEague level.

Are people conveniently forgetting or am I just imagining the fact that TAA got completely roasted against United earlier in the season?

Fair enough it's only one game and of course he's young but the way people go on about him you'd swear he's the second coming.

{Ed025's Note - he may be one for the future irish but im with you that hes not ready yet, but saying that hows he supposed to get experience if he is not given a chance mate?..
