In the summer, I wish we sign players with good experience and not just youngsters with potential. Grzegorz Krychowiak and Douglas Costa are two I can think. Both have over 200 senior appearances and have won trophies. Opinions please.

They would be fantastic signings for me but we have to get Champions League first otherwise we can forget them.

Someone should ask about Grzegorz Krychowiak on the European page. He is a monster of a CM. Was solid at Sevilla. I would love him at Liverpool. Big tall and excellent on the ball. He is very fast for a DM.

Costa won't happen.

Douglas Costa? As in the Bayern Munich player? You think a regular starter for Bayern Munich will drop out of guarenteed titles and CL football for us?

Both fifa signings lad. Great signinfs but unfortunately not going to happen.

Rav, its a catch 22 situation, we need Champions League to attract the best players, but we just can't get into the top four with the players that we have now, so it might take a while .

As a Polish supporter I know Krychowiak also from NT. He can't get game time right now in PSG, he is workhorse and very professional but is limited on the ball. He's like cross-over of Milner and Lucas.
I'm not sure if he would suit Klopp's style.

Never watched much of krychowiak but not sure he is what we need, despite being highly rated. Costa most definately, cannot see it happening though.

Krychowiak and Douglas Costa are both not regulars from their teams this season. I think LFC would struggle to bring them in even if we get CL football, but both would improve the team certainly.

Krychowiak is a very good player and excellent in our system as Sevilla played the high press under Emery BUT w/ o CL, ain't going to happen.

What about that Polish lad at the Euros - Kapustka?
He looked pretty decent.

Just realised Kapustka signed for Leicester.
Oh well, could snap him up if they go down 😄.

Ron, Kapustka disapeared in Leicester reserves. It's hard to admit but polish league is too weak still to look there for players.

Thanks for all the responses. Yes, we will get them only if we qualify for CL. Costa is not getting regular game time or so i heard. I was surprised to read Kamil's post that Krychowiak is limited on the ball.
