Ed001, One thing about Klopp that is bothering me is his ability to change things when needed. It seems that when we are down, he takes a lot of time to change players/ tactics and his subs don't have the right impact. 2 examples of this are the games against Sevilla and Bournemouth. Can you give a view on this?

{Ed001's Note - it is just the way he is. It is very rare subs do make a positive impact, which is why we remember certain players that do make them. We don't really have anyone to come off the bench and change the game available, so there is little that can really be done to be honest.}

Thanks Ed.

{Ed001's Note - I do agree though it is frustrating watching it.}

I've always thought Origi makes an impact when he comes off the bench.

Origi definitely has an impact off the bench - i feel he is used too late though. He often brings in players with 15-10 minutes left when really they need half an hour to stand a real chance.

Has to be said though, when our team is looking apathetic and lethargic on the field Woodburn makes a huge difference. I wonder if it's because Coutinho, Mane, Clyne et al get embarrassed to see a child daring to do what they can't be bothered to do, but he definitely ups the whole teams tempo.

Origi. Woodburn. Even moreno with his pace all have the ability to offer somethunt different.

when origi comes on, that's when teams decide to should shut up shop, as klopp is about to go all out. i think klopp has learnt somewhat as normally he would throw on origi for anyone other than the front 3. we're already a very attacking side and that move would always leave us likely to concede more goals.

I thought the subs and tactical changes were fine against leciester but really that should have been a half time change or better yet approach each team differently from the start instead of being so arrogant. we are not barcelona.

Disagree with the Boss over the role of Subs in a game. When your first team players aren't up to the specific task you bring different players from the bench.
Klopp doesn't fancy subs doesn't mean Subs have no role except few cameos to make up numbers. It was one one of the Subs that got us the CL called Hamman.

Squad is thread bare, players needed dropping and changing weeks ago but there isn't the players to do it.

It's all very good getting players off the wage bill but at what cost? Finishing 6th?

I remember Yossi Benayoun for his heroics off the bench.

Klopps misuse of the subs bench is pathetic and wrong. It often looks as though he has put no thought into it and you will often see the bench looks very much slapped together and is completely imbalanced, with either 5 midfielders or 4 defenders etc. One of the many improvements klopp must make to himself.

The way Mourinio used Fellini against us.
Bring him off the bench launch the ball bypassing our midfielders, Fellini gets on the end of it or manipulates a free kick. They equalise
It winning ugly or saving a point.
At the end of the season they are all worth the same.
Mourinio has done it at all his clubs.
