That's a great analogy ed, modern football resembles horrible parenting.

You'd think shifting underperforming, disruptive players out makes more financial sense? If they sack Ranieri, they have to compensate him. If they flick the players, they receive a fee.

I think you'd say that it happened with United and Fergie too? Because let's be honest, If the United board never backed Fergie above anyone else, there eventually would have been a player revolt and he would have been sacked, such is the modern metrosexual intolerance of his hard-ass methods. Because he seems to have fallen out with quite a few players at United, but he eventually got his way in the end.

{Ed001's Note - the problem is that, having given the underperforming players big contracts, who would buy them? They could end up in a situation like Leeds did when they were in financial trouble. They were paying part of the wages of a number of players (including one R. Fowler) for years after they left the club on small fees.

It is exactly what happened with United and Fergie, they were underperforming under him but the board backed him over the players and the rest, as they say is history.}

Can I tentatively make the point that Leicesters success and almost immediate demise is what can happen to a club that isn't developed well enough to sustain the finances and growth to cope with that success.?

{Ed001's Note - yep, very good point.}

Club statement

We would just like to reiterate our commitment and unwavering support of our manager Claudio ranieri.

We would however like to inform you of our disappoint in a small faction of our players for requested we part ways with our manager.

This will not happen and we have had to withdraw those players from first team selection for the immediate future. The decision to bring them back into the fold will we left with Claudio.
, .

Maybe unconventional but what's worse when your a kid.

1/ getting a smack off your dad
2/ your nan finding out haha it's horrible

Tell the fans. Don't name names buts it will be position you could work it out from.

Noonez doing that again, and hopefully you don't have to sack anyone and you make ranieri even more the hero if he gives them another chance.

But what's done is done, there acrewed now because the title was won on hard work not just skill.

{Ed001's Note - that is an excellent idea.}

Sorry if this has been covered but mentioned in match previews (great read btw) that Vardy is one of the main reasons why Ranieri got the sack and saw on sky sports there was a meeting with the players before sacking him.

Which players were responsible for getting Ranieri sacked? And if it is true it's the players fault it is a true shame as he brought literally all of them from obscurity to not just a league title, but into the attention of the top clubs and players.

{Ed001's Note - the first team as a whole are all responsible, but it is the ones that received the plaudits last season that are most at fault - Vardy and Mahrez stand out. Thank you for the feedback on the previews. Apologies for not being able to do them for a while.}

No need to apologies Jesus ed! Get access to this site and all the great info and contributions all of the eds supply for free, along with being able to get other previews besides Paul Merson stating what is blatantly obvious about each team once a week.

Also confirms my prejudice I had all along about Vardy, he just looks Weasely.

{Ed001's Note - Vardy has not covered himself in any glory at all.}

Vardy is a dispicable person. He failed Ranieri and the success has gone to his head it's been plain to see all season. I hope his career plummets from here on and he ends up back in non league football where he belongs! I feel the same about Mahrez, I really hope he doesn't get a move to a big club that he craves! One PL title and they think they're world beaters, the cigars come out and they've made it. true champions are the ones who are hungry enough to win it again the next season, and the one after that, it pains me to say it but the Man Utd under Fergie were true champions. They demanded success from each other and were never satisfied with the trophies from the previous season. But that's how football has gone, money is more important to some players, not all thankfully though.

I think its totally disgusting what has happened. It is not the players i blame but the spineless money grabbing board that has shown no loyalty to the manager that masterminded the only premiership title that they will ever win.
