If Leicester were to go down, do you think we have a chance with Kasper Schmeichel?

Not good enough and not needed. Karius is no.1 and Klopp is not going to bin him.

As a backup, would Schmeichel be a better choice than Mignolet?

He would not come to be backup and he would not be backup for very long.

I'd rather Schmeichel than Mahrez, he may be fast but I don't think he can catch Kaizer.

Schmeichel would be an upgrade on what we currently have. No doubt about that. It's more whether karius has th capacity to surpass him. Schmeichel still has room and is young enough to improve too.

Schmeichel is 30 and Karius is 23 so how exactly does he have better upside and ability to improve over someone 7 years younger than him and also talented judging by his stellar Bundesliga record, Swish?

Cos we're not judging on what he did in the bundesliga, just going off this season. Schmeichel is a better keeper right now - though karius when he's 28 has the capacity to be better but we don't know if that will actually happen ( I hope it does) Migs has been here almost 4 years and hasn't improved much so it doesn't always happen.

{Ed001's Note - if you are going off this season, as you claim, then Schmeichel is dodgy as hell and no better than Karius. I don't know why people rate him so highly, his dad was world class, but he is, at his best, average.}

Thank you, Ed. Kasper was NEVER a great GK, period. We know that Karius was great in the Bundesliga and that is a fact so we know he is talented as the Bundesliga is the home of modern day GK's.
