A question for ed01 it seems we have a real conveyor belt of talent coming through our youth system. I wanted to know how much of it is down to the restructuring benitez done of the youth system all those years ago.

{Ed001's Note - pretty much all of it.}

Fantastic i guess you could say it is benitez's lasting legacy.

{Ed001's Note - one of. He has had a number on Merseyside as a whole that are far more important. The best thing he ever did was bring his family to Liverpool, as Montse has done so much for the city. If anyone deserves legendary status within the city, it is the Benitez family. Forget the football, the work they do for charities etc is immense.}

Rafa still loves the club and easily inside the best tacticians in clubs history. During his time he had a brilliant core of staffs around him who were simply the best. His family still lives in merseyside and I do remember him applauded and crying in one of the Hillsborough memorial Day.

If it wasn't for Klopp. I'd love to see rafa back but that won't happen. I love the man but I believe Klopp is by far the better man to manage our club.

I wouldn't, LFC16. His time is gone and it should stay that way. As for what he and his fam did for the club and the community, he deserves the credit. It shows that a true gentleman cannot be found on the pitch where the cameras are on. It is when no one is there to see the great things that they do off the pitch that they can be judged and Rafa and his fam passed that test swimmingly.

For all the good things Rafa and the Benitez family has done, I still can't quite forgive him for selling Xabi Alonso.

Good old Rafa, brought some great memories but also put his nose in where it did not belong. In the end, he was to keen on getting involved in politics, like he has at every club he has managed at. Leopard does not change its spots. Except at Chelsea where he was like a pawn.

Around the dinner table he probably will be the most humble guy you can find but I would definitely not want to see him back managing Liverpool. His time had come and gone which ended up being the better for Liverpool.

Not in a million years, Max. Rafa is history and should stay there.
