Just wondering if one of the eds could explain to me the situation with Moreno? Is it an attitude thing? Does Klopp just not rate him at all?

He knows he has major weaknesses in his game, so he has knuckled down and worked harder in training. Unfortunately, those weaknesses still manifest themselves every time he plays. Quite gutting to hear Ed, Sounds like the lad is a good professional who unfortunately can't seem to up his game. But id keep him in the squad like lucas as an example of the kind of effort and commitment that is expected of all players.

{Ed001's Note - personally I would let him go somewhere he can get regular gametime and hopefully he will learn from the experience and become a competent left back in time. We need to sell him and allow him his chance to play, he deserves it.}

Were would you think would be best for him Ed?, Lower prem league team, Championship or back to spain.

Probably too early to ask but should we get a new LB in the summer ed would you expect Moreno to be out? I hope so, shame it didn't work for him here of course but nowhere near good enough for us.

Thank you for the in depth answer Ed. I would've tried to put him in a position where he would be less of a liability like on the wing. I guess Klopp is boss though lol.

{Ed001's Note - he started as a winger and was not good enough there, hence being moved back to the full back role. He offers nothing when he gets forward, so not sure how he would be less of a liability there? Surely he would be more of one, when he is incapable of the fluid movement and quick interchanges we require to break down teams.}

I think moreno's fifa17 stats influenced the belief that moreno could play win for us. Other than raw pace, he would have offered nothing as a winger especiailly the way we play.

Shame as he has all the attributes to be quality, and like you said ed his attitude can't be questioned.

What do you expect to happen to Milner ed if we sign a lb?

I think he will become and awesome squad player, maybe he won't want tgat but you know he will give 100%.

If we get top 4 there will be so many games and quality cover will be needed.

Whatever we do, don't sell him to Chelsea. Conte seems to be able to make a wingback out of anyone who can run. Just look at Moses.
