No the reason everyone is p*ssed off is because we have won 1 game in 10 and are now out of three competitions we where in all but 2 weeks ago. That would be disappointing for almost every premier league team let alone Liverpool.

I do agree that from some fans there has been an overreaction by calling for a mass overhaul of the squad (which is the last thing we need) and to asses the managers position. We should really wait until the end of the season and see how everything plays out, top 4 was the aim and it still is, anything lower and this season would be deemed a failure to put it bluntly. I would still stick with Klopp in any event but summer recruitment would be my do or die. If we make the wrong sort of signings I will have major doubts going forward. Certain mistakes can be excused but when they start costing us regularly the penny must drop eventually as it did with rogers and daglish.

Well written both - we as fans need to learn to calm down and acknowledge a bad patch for what it is, let the team analyse, learn and improve from it without demanding they throw the baby out with the bath water and assume suddenly everyone is cr@p and the whole squad and coach need to be fired. 3-4 signings and sticking with Klopp is what we need to do and we'll work our way through this just fine and come out the other side stronger for it.

I think the lack of commitment from quite a few of the players is annoying people. Blame klopp a you like, but it's hard to know which players will just play in auto pilot for three weeks a month.

Too many players will only give 100% effort when we play the likes of Chelsea, city etc. Because they want to eventually play for those clubs. They're putting themselves on display for the big buyers.

Before I get the "we've covered more ground than any other side this season" that's not commitment, ok.
We have probably. 3 players that give 100% every week. That is our problem.

Is time for the club to decide: do we want a group of players that are half as good, but give 100% - or a group of better players that give 50%.
I'm in the players giving 100% camp.
Better than winding up Newcastle.

"everyone" was delirious with delusions of grandeur when we were atop the league and now "everyone" is depressed with psychopathic thoughts now that we are 5th. it's how it is aye!?

Why do it to yourself and think your going to win the league.

Why not just enjoy the run and see qherw we ens up?

Win the league or not. up to now this is a good improved season.

Both kman and super are right in a way, its a combination if a horrible run and poor attitude from the players that have irked me. Why put peoples hopes up then go to sleep as soon as it gets a little hard because a few of their mates are away or injured for a month. They can't now pick themselves up when its required and we are in danger of free falling down the table if a rocket isn't put up them.

I don't advocate getting rid of half the squad, but in reality if this club or manager wants to win anything a fair few of them will need to be replaced. I have seen enough of some of them from the rodgers era and in particular the stoke and sevilla games that they just can't be trusted to be mentally strong when required.

Our 'bad patch' has been around since 1990.

Super, you are correct. I believe many got suckered into actually believing we were in a title race whereas the more measured people like me, always said that the title was a year too soon. I got shut down by many on here for lacking ambition and embracing mediocrity.

We all knew that in spite of our good run, there were still holes in this team. Gk issue, players like Studge, Lovren, Klavan, Can, Migs being poor or inconsistent BUT hey, we kept winning and scoring goals. Now come Jan, the chickens have come home to roost.

The above players are error-prone and our fighting spirit and desire to win, has gone as certain players seem to no longer have the stomach for a fight vs any team. Only Firmino and Hendo play a game like it's their last. That has to change.

The issues people are listing here is not a unique one and every mangers has to cope with it through out the season. It is to over come such issues you are paid top dollar and considered world class.
Are you all trying to feel sorry for the players who won 1 in ten games? How about the fans? Another trophy less campaign and more humiliation and bullying from outside world?

The player's and Klopp to a lesser extent are to blame for the implosion. The player's should be ashamed to be picking up thousands and thousands of pounds every week. No desire No fight and no pride in the Jersey. Even the young players that came in didn't show any of the above, you have a chance to make it at one of the biggest clubs in the world and they bottle it. Klopps persistance on playing this Pass, pass, pass, lose the ball, panic in attack tactics doesn't help either. The fans have every right to be angry watching that dross, if it was a once off fair enough but it's not it's every game.

Spot on, Dan. Even Klopp was furious at the players pathetic attitude and tore them a new one at half time during the Hull game but it was too late as Migs already struck and gave Hull the lead.
