Ed001? What's your opinion on contracts being given out mid way through the season? To me it gives the players a sense of 'I've mad it' and futures should be only sorted at the end of the season.

The team, I think, believed their own hype and thought they were world beaters, levels dropped, we didn't get the results, and now the team is in a rut. This is where Klopp earns his cash as if we continue this way we could be 6th in a week or two.

{Ed001's Note - I have always believed in concentrating on playing during the season and doing everything else during the summer. They should only get awarded for what they do over an entire season, not part of it.}
