I think part of the problem we are currently experiencing is the fact that we were eliminated from 2 cup competitions whilst playing severely weakened teams.

Every player wants to win a trophy and the fact we were so close to Wembley and fielded a much weakened team has had a negative phycological impact.

The players probably knew that we were too far off the pace to mount a sustained PL challenge, and although top 4 is a target the disappointment of having no trophies to chase is telling, in my humble opinion.

We need to get over this problem soon, because we have now just dropped out of the top 4, and need to show how much we really want it.

We need to start showing the fight and fire of pre January, otherwise our slide will continue.

It is really amazing how we have gone from being the most exciting team in the PL, to perhaps the most boring so far this year.

You're going around the houses here mate. It isn't anything to do with the disappointment of cup competitions, we're just awful. The club as a whole is just a mess - the fans at matches, the people who run the transfers, the management, the players, sprinkled with an awful lot of bad luck and we are snowballing into a complete breakdown during the run in. Its been pathetic and nobody seems to have any motivation to sort it out.

Well said Anonymous.
This is not about bad coaching.
Entire lfc staffs are to blame as it seened like they don't want the team to win.
Everytime team want to challenge for a title these things happen.
They want to put blame on a coacher.
They should feel ashamed.

KBL
Are you suggesting these players need a Doctor? Someone to treat their mental problems. Give me a break mate. We lost coz we were well beaten by teams who wanted more, who set up a tactic and executed well and we are still loosing coz we don't know how to beat that tactics. Stop fooling around people with these synonyms mental issue, fatigue, wind and what more. The boss himself has squashed all those stupid words.
We move on and for heaven sake let's hope Klopp has found out a way to counter these teams who come and put up a shop

Thank you.

There is an attitude problem with this team when it comes o playing against lesser teams. They seem to no longer have the will to claw and fight for a result like a did earlier in the season vs said teams. Now, they just pass the ball around or pass to Cots or Firmino and see what happens.

Can does this too. He makes runs in the box but once the ball doesn't come to him instead of drifting wide to find space and drag a defender out of position for another player to run into, he just stops and the move is dead. Migs the clanger has gone back to who we have known him to be and that's not surprising. Studge and Origi have been poor and made Mane's absence look worse due to their inability to step up.

Klopp needs to figure out what has changed and where the stomach for a scrap has gone to. Tactically, he needs to change something, bench some players or something, just to find a spark cos right now, we don't even have a flicker nor a sign of a pulse.
