Another low block, another game with 70%+ possession, lack of a killer touch, another goal conceded from a set piece and another counterattack.

We need to take action over the summer with a top GK replacing Migs, another CB a defensive mid to allow Hendo to push further forward in these sorts of games, and a top striker to replace Sturridge that has the physical presence in the box while being more mobile than Benteke or Balo.

But every Liverpool supporter except Klopp, knew that these positions needed strengthening months ago, and nothing has been done about it. What do we do next game?, change one clanger of a keeper for another.

Karius, Matip, Klavan, Gini, Grujic, Mane have started to address the issues but I doubt Klopp would have foreseen how poor Sturridge and Origi would perform during this last 6 weeks and clearly more to be done.

Another thing we shouldn't discount however is at least part of this issue is setup of the team. Clearly we have a team that performs well against better sides where possession is 50/ 50 and we can employ a high press and take advantage of space, but we're haven't figured out how to break down teams.

We don't have a top CF on form that can score goals in a packed box like Costa, Kane or even Giroud. We don't have wide players that can deliver killer balls into the box, except for Mane, we tend to over commit going forward leaving a shaky CB pairing to deal with quick counterattacks and with limited protection, and our GK situation is clearly a mess.

For the next game I think we play 4-3-3 as it's Tottenham and simply replace Can with Gini and Lucas with Lovren, but for the 'lower' teams we need a new strategy and that's either Stewart alongside Hendo so he can push forward more, or even a 3-4-3 and more attacking wide players.
