The U23s got back to winning ways against Bolton last night in the Lancashire Senior Cup with a 3-1 win. As somebody has already said, Harry Wilson scored a brace with both goals coming from the penalty spot and he also assisted Brewitt's goal which was a very well worked goal. Ojo is also getting back to form and he's putting in a good performance most weeks now. Wilson and Ojo are excellent players and I have no doubt that they will be in the first team squad by the end of the season if they continue their form. I know I rave about Wilson a lot but I don't want to put any added pressure on his shoulders by giving people very high expectations, it'll take time for him to settle into the first team fully and patience is key.
It must be encouraging for all of our young boys to see the likes of Woodburn, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ejaria be involved week in week out as it just helps them realise that Klopp is more than willing to reward the youngsters for good performances.
Next game is Spurs on Sunday, this one is on lfctv and the last time we played Spurs we beat them 6-2 so there should be a fair few goals scored.

I hear Brewster is also looking good though he is even younger still.

He came off the bench for a bit yesterday and looked a threat. He played very well against Ipswich the other week and he's been excellent for the u18s from what I've heard so hopefully he can step up and cement a place in the U23s seeing as Woodburn has gone up to the first team and Brooks Lennon has gone out on loan.
