Yes. Remember when he said Chelsea changed their style after they lost to Liverpool? They have been brilliant since then. Klopp, lilkewise, should find a solution.

Conte teams have always been three at the back it was only a matter of time before he changed chelsea to that

The style we started with hasn't been worked out, we changed our style, and it's not working.

I agree Chilean, we seemed to change for the city game and we have stuck with it since. It's not working and if we don't do somthing about it soon we will finish 6th

Optimism dashed

We need with more width, pace and at least try to best an opposition player!

It's far too easy for the opppsing side when all we do is pass the ball from side to side then try and thread the ball through the eye of a needle. We need to mix up the play and be more direct with our forward running, forcing defenders to turn.

Maybe a change of tactic ( at stages ) by sitting off the opposing team by 5-10 yards and invite them on might just give them something else to think about.

I really wonder why we haven't made a bit more use of Ojo in the last couple of weeks.

I appreciate he's an inexperienced player, but he has the minerals to take a player on and go around the outside of the opposition fullback. A bit of variety in our movement up top could help us get past this poor spell, and Ojo on the left would provide that.

Unless there are still fitness concerns, the only reason I can think for not using him is that his best position is also Coutinho's best position. But surely he could've started today, or been a bench option against Swansea and Southampton?

If any of the EDDS r around, interesting quotes from KLOPP, he takes full responsibility for these performances because you can't critisize players, what do u make of that, that performance today was a recipe for disaster, no shots at goal, can't defend, something fundamentally is wrong it's like someone has flicked a switch and everyone has downed tools.

{Ed002's Note - He is obviously, and quite rightly, wanting to deflect the Liverpool fans from trashing the players, but I suspect he will fail with that. He is not one to easily learn lessons as we saw at Dortmund and as we are continuing to see at Liverpool. Things will pick up.}

When we use width it just seems to be hopeful crosses into the box with little to no chance of someone getting on the end of one, our system is currently so one dimensional it hurts to watch, i mean we got figured out by Plymouth let alone the Prem sides. I can't believe I'm saying this but it's times like these when having a Benteke player might be quite useful, as at least it gives us other options so we become less predictable.

Another really worrying part, is it looks like our players are afraid to take a forward touch/ pass or take a man on in the case of being countered due to our non existent defence, if we had a better defensive midfielder i feel we could play with a lot more confidence going forward. Real pressure on Klopp to find a solution now.

I said to my nephew on Wednesday - watch us lose to Wolves and then beat Chelsea.

The premier league was always the priority this season. We all want to win cups obviously, but to in order to keep moving forward we have to get in that top 4. We still have a fantastic chance of achieving that.
It's not all doom and gloom. You learn more from your defeats than you do from your wins. We will keep developing and moving forward. 😎

I hate seeing players blamed Ed, but when you see professionals struggling with completing simple passes to their own players, you can 'almost' understand why some do! Klopp and the players will get there, but will need time, more work on the training ground and a few more transfer windows to do so!

I don't really get the eds obsession with Liverpool fans trashing their players? I know there are some fools on here and not on here but I am sure the chelsea fans trashed their players when they downed tools last season and pretty much forced Maureen out. I for one trust in klopp but am somewhat confused with the change in tactics and the recent team selections. Seems odd and we can't blame it all on mane being away can we. We really miss lallana playing in the middle if you ask me and Bobby through the middle. We look a completely different team. Today was embarrassing but we must move on. Fingers crossed we beat chelsea and spurs YNWA

{Ed002's Note - What is embarrassing that you again try and make the failingsof the Liverpool fans about Chelsea. Pitiful and stupid.}

@ Dot

Guarantee you the players will up the intensity against Chelsea. Which of course will just compound how poor the performances and dropped points against Sunderland and Swansea were.

The system doesnr work. Its the sane systen of the rodgers era. No pace.

Forget mane.

Proper pace in a team propells you to something else.

Penetration in behind. counter attack. occuping other players simply throuvh your pace

This isn't the first time either we have added pace and turned into somethung else. the same happened the 6 months after we signed sturridge and the sane has happebed again after signing mane.

Its a fifferent type of pace thab just veung quick. like origi. Its that electric turn of pace owen esk. 0-60 in 5 seconds.

We need to find more of it.

Btw every other top team in the world has it.

Sterling. sanchez/ walcott. mkhi (although without pace there half the tran) . hazard. tottenham are actually the only real ones who dont.

Its gives the opposition a complelty fifferent thing to plan against.

Once mane gets vack everyone will revert to there successful positions. we only have 1 game a week pretty much now. if we discover 3/ 4 of our start of the season form then we could still do the title.

Keep the faith. klopps still building what he wants. Thouvht he was getting all these years where you would lay off.
