Hi first time ever posted but been reading this site for months can anyone tell me why so many people are so negative on here no one was moaning earlier in season when we where hammering teams an we have only lost only 3 games in league what will people say when mane back an where winning every week again?

I know mate it's a joke. Just goes to show how fickle some supporters are. If they can't support through the bad, don't be there when we are winning.

What a stupid post, how can you logically expect people to be happy with the run of form we are in at the moment. Any team would be disappointed with that run of form let a lone us. Of course we wouldn't be complaining earlier in the season because we never went a month without a win (bar the Plymouth result which was a horrid performance nonetheless), we where also performing well going forward but people that actually understand the game knew we had major frailties everywhere else bar the attack. Now we aren't doing any of the things we where doing at the beginning of the season and haven't changed anything, expecting a different result every time. It's stupid to expect fans that pay good money to watch these games yet be positive even when we go on a run like this, that's delusional. There is a certain type of negativity that should be cut out but I haven't seen much of that to be honest, fans calling for Klopp to be sacked or certain players to be sold and over exaggerating should wined the knecks in but again I have only seen people's opinion of the situation. Fans like you call anything that isn't praising Klopp and the team negativity.

I'm not. I'm just happy that we're playing as shabite as we are, yet sit nicely in a league position.

Win win for me as we will improve drastically over the next few games as these blips never lasted.

Anyone moaning about our form should look at the premier league over the decades, and understand that all teams have downers, especially in an overrated inconsistent money-bags Premier League.

To be fair I was moaning. I think people need to blow off steam and use this forum to vent their frustration.
I must say the edds are saint like putting up with it but for me it makes great reading

Of course people weren't moaning when we were hammering teams and are moaning when we are drawing or losing game after game. That would be the logical way to go about things. Not that I support the level of moaning but if you are bitching and moaning when things are actually going your way you have issues!

{Ed025's Note - the thing is hjikle that i could understand a moan or two if you were out of both cups early and languishing in mid table or worse, but liverpool are right in the mix for a CL spot if not better, and got to the semis of the league cup and still in the FA cup, you play attractive football and have a great manager, nice ground, and terrific support...not much to moan about for me there mate..

Hi Eds, Reds old and new.

This site is by far the best site I have found where there is a full spectrum of supporters and opinions.

Some posters use it to vent their frustrations, some to offer their opinions and some to ask the Eds questions as they apparently have an inside line on things and they are not shy about saying what's what on the posts.

Find me a better site where you get a more complete package as I would love to see it.

You are free to have a moan cos we are crap right now. Even Klopp is frustrated and moans sometimes in his pressers. That`s normal. But it is the mindless, knee jerk reactions to the point of asking for Klopp`s head cos we are having a dip in form, I can`t stand. Mou`s Utd have been 6th for pretty much the whole season. Do you hear their fans asking for his head? Some of us are glass half-empty or half-full guys (like me) . The latter are people who always wanna believe in optimism and perseverance in the face of adversity, with the hope that things will get better.

That doesn`t mean we are happy with things cos I can assure you, I am not. Ed25 posted the best comments here and responded to those who just wanna have a moan and bash players/ manager for no reason. The fact that a proud Blue is the voice of reason, says a lot more about our own "fans" than anything else.

Of course no one is happy with our current form, but before the season started we would all have taken top 4. In my opinion with Klopp having had a pre season and money to make big money signings, anything less than top 4 is a failure. By no means do I want Klopp to leave, I cannot think of a manager I would rather have in charge right now, but we are currently not in good shape. We've moved a lot of players around due to injuries rather than bring in replacements within the squad. Lallana in the front 3 was a dreadful decision, hopefully we'll realise that and go back to putting him in midfield with either origi wide or Ojo etc filling in. I still believe we can finish right up there this season because if I don't, then what's the point in bothering to support us every week. In my eyes if we beat Chelsea home and away this season and they still win the league, we have done everything we possibly can to stop them from winning it. We can only impact on 6 points in their season. Let's keep the faith and stay positive, being negative won't solve anything!

true noah, i look at ed25 as not just a everton fan but a football fan and that's how it should be

{Ed025's Note - that would just about sum me up L16, i love my football and after grafting all week look forward to some enjoyment, and for me moaning constantly and slagging my own team does not constitute that so i suppose i would be classed as a glass half full kind of guy mate..

ed025 - oh don't get me wrong I agree with you and think the level of moaning is well over the top. Just pointing out that just because people don't moan when things are awesome doesn't mean that they have no right to when things are not going well - you don't have to be constantly moaning to have a right to moan!

{Ed025's Note - perspective is the word hjikie, and i think a lot of it is way over the top, im not saying everything in the garden is rosy at the moment but lets keep it real, constructive criticism is fine, where you would prefer players to play and the formation etc, but when its just slagging the players and the manager off and calling the owners cretins its far beyond the pail and there is no need for it imo mate..

I 100% agree Ed025. I don't get this arrogance that surrounds the club. Don't get me wrong, this club has an almost unmatched history but people need to realise that this is history and the prosperity of years past is long gone.

We had a world beater in Suarez a couple of seasons ago and absolutely over-achieved. People saying that he was one part of a team are wrong. He was half a team on his own. I don't condone his stinking attitude and behaviour but he was a certified world beater. If you think we would be talking about 2nd place with Suarez omitted you're mad. Technically the most gifted to play for the club. Rodgers was lucky to have such a talent.

People take the fundamentals for granted. We have a great stadium, massive fan base, great manager and a whole load of potential.

Try and see the positives guys, its not all doom and gloom.

{Ed025's Note - i agree on the suarez factor smallsy, i get the frustration of the fans you know, you are so close to having something special and i know it can make you tear your hair out at times, but i believe you are on the right track with klopp and you must remember its very early in his tenure, with a couple of additions who knows what this team can achieve so i think the supporters should try and be patient and be that extra man from the terraces, good times are not that far away for me mate..

I agree mate. Its absolutely frustrating as hell for any fan of the club right now.

but this short-lived optimism is bullish*t. We were playing amazing football less than two months ago and people have already forgotten about it and turned almost completely negative. Its not like the apocalypse is nigh. Its a hurrendous lack of form, but we will bounce back. if we show some belief and support.

if an everton fan can see the sky is blue (no pun intended) how on earth can our own fans not see the positives :D. Come on guys.
