If the we don't make any signings other than cout's contract I'll be a happy man. I had real concerns he might be off in the summer. At least we'll have him for next year and we've got the protection of his contract if/ when it comes to selling him. Good lad Phil!

Both Suarez and Bale signed contracts 6 months before they moved to Barcelona and Real respectively. I wouldn't read too much into contract at all. I still think he will be off to Barcelona in the summer once they start their rebuilding around Neymar.

As far as I can see, Coutinho is not suarez, I don't see him forcing a transfer as he is happy at Liverpool. He may give klopp another season maybe even 2. and then if a big offer comes in club and player may both be happy to accept.

Doesn't mean Couts won`t leave in the summer. It just means we will be in the driver's seat if a club wants him and when negotiations for his departure begins.

Coutinho will never shaft the club like Suarez did.
Movement is normal in football, if he goes, he goes, but he will never mess the club or the fans around.
