So Coutinho is about to sign a contract extension which will see his salary doubled to nearly 160k a week with no buy out clause.

Ed, in reality, does this really mean anything? If the right offer comes along from Barcelona or Psg then no doubt he will be on his way imo.

Upped contract, increased value, cashed in?

I can see him being turned if Barcelona call (as would almost any player) but let's hope he wants to stay. him and Firmino we awesome together.
