I know it's frustrating but if we get in the top four and win a trophy, we could not have hoped for more at the start of season, we do need more steel in defence and more creativity in the midfield, Jonathan Tah and Dahoud would solve that but we can't see that happening

And what would you say if we don't get top4 and don't win a trophy? Because there is just the same amount of possibility of your above statement happening as my statement happening. How can we base a season on what if's!

I think the point is that we still have plenty to play for ZALFC. Not fall apart like you have. I read your comments during the game and along with a few others, i think you need to stop and breath for a moment.

ZALFC needs to sit back and take a look at the bigger picture. We have made giant strides since Klopp took over.

Top 4 and a trophy are still in our own hands. We're the masters of our own destiny. So long as you have that, you have everything you need

Ron u said the same during Rodgers time. I think going for the title was always unrealistic. but looking how well conte is doing in his 1st season leaves lil bit of envy there tho.

Top 4 is must for us especially without Europe, if we fail to finish in top 4 then the season will turn out to be a huge huge disappointing. However u like to spin it tho

What I'm trying to say is whilst we still have the chance stop complaining, man u are in 6th and they are probably less negative than us

For me the fans are a huge problem. ZAL you are exactly what I'm talking about. The players are human beings and if they feel that 50,000 fans are behind them win or lose they have much more freedom to play. The problem is a large proportion of our fans just want to jump on every slip up and every individual error which just exacerbates the problem. Klopp has tried to change the fan mentality numerous times but some of you are just too stupid to realise you are actually part of the problem if not the biggest part. I feel like some are hoping we lose so they can say 'here we go again' and 'we always lose the important games as usual' and other rubbish I've been reading lately. Try supporting the team we have a squad capable of winning the premier league we really do, perhaps all they need is to know we are all on the same side.

kopite7 : I may have said the same under Rodgers, but that is because it was true. We were 7 points from 3 games away from winning the league!
But then we went backwards because we lost our best player and we qualified for the champions league. Rodgers being an inexperienced manager didn't know how to handle that, he stockpiled players, lost his way and it all fell apart.
Klopp is not inexperienced, he has won trophies, he has taken teams to the champions league final. It may not work out for him but that doesn't mean we haven't made giant strides since he arrived.
