Just want to say a big shout out for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Talk about getting chucked in at the deep end, he didn't just hold his own but actually looked really solid and composed for the most part, against man United at old Trafford! Almost scored early on as well.
Sorry Clyne but if I was Klopp I would not be dropping this young lad just yet.

Couldn't agree more, he came into one of the biggest games of the season, sure made mistakes but who wouldn't at his stage, half of it is nerves. Top talent, Id keep playing the lad.

Clyne is the incumbent and hasn't done anything to not deserve that. Not least the sparkling shine of the new youth prospect

I think I was watching a different game. I think he didn't okay. But martial was having his way with TAA in the first half. TAA grew into the game in the 2nd half, not a horrible debut. Certainly better than the 100 million pound man in the other side.

TAA will learn from yesterday's game and will go on
to become a top player for us.

I agree an outstanding performance in an exceptionally tough situation but he wasn't perfect either and not sure he'll be displacing Clyne anytime soon. I hope he develops into a better attacking option though (his pass to Coutinho was pure class! ) and that'll see him play games where we need that cutting edge vs. Clynes more solid all round game.

Have to agree with TjRed, thought it was always going to be tough for him in such a high-pressure environment but he did get run around a lot by Martial. Think he will regret giving Rooney so much respect for the cross that ended in Ibra's goal. You do learn from these moments though and he is young.

He was clearly targeted early on and agree with TJ he did ok but struggled for the first 30 or so. I wouldn't say outstanding performance, but he didn't look shabby either. a solid game after a shakey start. He wasn't helped being alongside Lovren sadly.
