A question for Ed01 if he fancies it. I've been having a think about two of our better prospects from recent years who are no longer at the club, Suso and Sterling. I was surprised to see that they're having remarkably similar seasons in terms of goals and assists and I was wondering if you have an opinion over which is the better player? Going on little more than the highlight reel and my limited memories Sterling's game seems based on his pace, tenacity and close control whilst Suso seems more cultured with more flow to his dribbling and a better range of passing. Do you think either would get into our first 11 or do you think we've grown beyond them? (let's ignore Sterling's attitude problem if we can)

{Ed001's Note - Sterling was faster but Suso was much better in every area of the game. He was so much more technically adept than Sterling, loved to get stuck in and had a beautiful first touch at times. Suso needed to go to get the chances, as he was short and not lightning quick in a country that still favours physicality over technicality. He would certainly make a great option to play in midfield or one of the forward positions, especially during the absence of Lallana and Coutinho. However I do not think he would have commanded a first choice place yet.}

I rekpn suso had it all but that his body needed to catch up with his technique. He also didn't have the engine to play centrally for us serie A is a really good fit for him

I think Sterling. Sterlings game has changed a lot since the hype surrounding him and as he sought to find something to differentiate him from the other forwards at City in a positive light, which has ultimately left him as a Walcott mK2 - all pace and little else. From what I saw of them when they were first getting regular games (Sterling first full season with us and Suso at Almeria - which granted was a lot less than I saw Sterling) I think Sterling had the potential to go further.

However I think the reason Ibe hasn't gone further already is all in his head

Any chance of getting him back in the summer?

{Ed001's Note - which one? Though the word no would apply anyway.}
