This is with regards to youngsters and their loans and I would love if Ed02 and Carra gold could join this.

Nathan Ake has been outstanding at Bournemouth and being called back by Chelsea as I hear from my mates. And fair play to the lad a loan with a decent club with in PL benefits every youngsters.

How many of our youngsters are playing with in the PL on a loan? Flanagan ain't playing for Burnley. The likes of Ejaria and a few others who are better than U23 level should be playing for a team with in the PL. Primararly a mid table team who plays a lot similar to how we play.

There are lot of youngsters with ourself who are not going to get any game time with senior team. With today's result going opposite to the plans Klopp might ace a few for the rest of the season.

Which is more productive, Playing for U23 or any PL team who has the same pressure as any player in the first team at Liverpool?

What if the likes of Stewart, Ejaria and TAA gets a 20 starts at a club like Bournemouth?

What's the point in keeping them at reserves when their next competitive game could be after a month or later?

{Ed002's Note - Ake is not a good example as he was always seen as an exceptional talent. Liverpool have traditionally not done well in planning careers and loans - that has been dealt with on plenty of occasions in the past.}

My simple point Ed02, Three players who need desperate playing time ( I don't care if it's at Liverpool or Bournemouth ) Ejaria, Stewart and Ojo are being kept for a reason beyond me and I don't think they are going to play a lot this season. They struggled today coz they never played successive football for first team this season at all.
Which is better, A full season long loan with at least 25 league starts at Bournemouth or 15 mts cameo once in full moon at their parent club?

Ed02, I guess the club decided to block loan moves for Ojo and Ejaria. I am pretty sure the talent they are there should be clubs with in the league interested in the summer?
I have never understood this funny claim the kids would play cup games, when they could actually play competitive football match against top class players under a good loan system. Our biggest issue is we bring the players directly from the U23 and expect them to pull the trees.

My understanding is, as per ed002, Ojo had a similar expectation, and could probably be on a similar loan or in the first team had it not been for such serious injuries. Other than that, our club leaves much to be desired from the outside looking in, in terms of youth. Granted, I don't know all that much about it. Just what I can recall from these sites.

Some players even when they are on loan don't seem to develop properly. Some seem to think that they are from a bigger club to which they will return go after their loan spell is over. They are still really in a sort of comfort zone .
Unless they are ultra professional in their attitude the best way for the majority to improve is to play like their future and wages depend on it.
It creates the hunger to compete and be competitive.

Harry you need to remember English clubs push players too young. Abroad a player is still considered young until 23/ 24 I'd much rather ojo ejaria etc spending every day training with our first team and klopp until they're ready I mean look at suso he's just hit 23 don't you wish we kept him around. Keep patience as klopp has he knows what hea doing. Lewa was a nobody at the age of 22 remember that mukka

First team training without any minutes on the pitch wouldn't help them in anyways. I would rather let them play for Southampton or Leicester for an year than just training for the sake of training.
If you think Klopp would start these youngsters in the PL then you are thinking too far mate.
It doesn't matter where they play currently. What matter is they must PLAY.
Coutinho will replace Mane and I don't see how this will help Ojo?

How Eds, how is it that a club of liverpool stature, with owner like gg and manager in Klopp failed to have relations with other clubs?

Well we can agree to disagree then harry I think the u23s and training would be the best way to go then a loan move at around 21/ 22. On a completely different subject I think pl teams should be given local feeder teams to send loan players to, for example us and Everton could use Wigan Tranmere etc. I think that's the way the fa need to go for English players sake. Just an idea

Your argument is far to simplistic Harry, and borders on arrogance that you think that our youth players are better than the first team players at teams like Leicester/ Southampton/ Bournemouth. What makes you even think that they want our youth players.
Klopp's record with developing youth players speaks for itself and if he thinks that keeping players like Ojo, Stewart, Ejaria et al is the best thing for their development than sending them off on loan (to possibly not even play, like so many of our previous loans have gone), then that's good enough for me.
Have you ever thought that perhaps what Klopp is doing is drumming into these young players his values and beliefs so that their mentality is correct if/ when they get a first team game or go away on loan.
The way the club have handled loans over the last 10-15 years has been awful and the volume of talented youngsters we've had that have flopped is a testamaent to that, Klopp is trying to do it a different way, his way, have some faith.

Oh and I doubt any premier league team would be able to give ojo ejaria or any of our youngsters for that matter first team football, the championship if your lucky, even then they may not get a sniff as they're young and inconsistent. I think klopp knows what he's doing and we should all back him and his decisions until he proves that we shouldn't

Loaning players just for the sake of it, is a pointless venture which could be damaging to a player`s development as we may never see the talent nor potential they have. See Thiago Ilori`s pointless loan moves for context.

You need to loan a player to a club where LFC has good relations with, like Utd had with Belgium`s Royal Antwerp (Joh O`Shea played there) or like Chelsea have with Vitesse (Ake played there as well) where not only will they develop and play consistently, they will be properly taken care of by the loanee club cos they have a stake in the player developing as well.

LFC has no plan or structure for loaning players and making it up as you go along sin not the answer, long term. if Klopp thinks he can get the best out of them by them playing in the U23`s and getting some games with the senior squad, then so be it cos after all at BVB, he gave us the likes of Gotze, Schmelzer, developed Sahin, Gundogan, and converted a wide player in Aubameyang to the lethal striker we now know and love, and the list goes on.
