Kevin Stewart may be? Heard the club rejected more than 4 offers for the lad.

It should've been Stewart. He is a proper holding midfielder with better passing and tackling than Can. Can is a flair player. Capable of skill and scoring goals but not disciplined enough to play deep. Klopp undoubtedly got it wrong putting him in front of the defence when we had Stewart and Lucas on the sidelines, fit and willing.
Klopp doesn't often get things wrong though so just forget it lads. We are a guaranteed 2nd going into the FA cup weekend and if Spurs do us a favour we will have closed the gap from 6 to 5! Points on the board people. Points on the board!

he has been described as the perfect player for Liverpool, why don't we try playing him, he has never let us down yet he was ruthlessly dumped out of the match day squad.

Spot on, guys. Can is not a DM and many of us already knew that. he did his best and that is all we can ask for. Can is good if Hendo is next to him as his energy, skill and athleticism can push teams bag so those who want to vilify him should go do it elsewhere and not on these boards. I wouldn`t have started Lucas nor Stewart either as this was a very important game especially on the road. We actually played well and created several scoring chances (Studge was brilliant overall) but it wasn`t to be for diverse reasons (Ref decisions include, IMO) . We are second until the next league game and that`s all that matters.

To be fair I've been critical but intending to be less so of Can (who I still see as having potential but just not sure how he fits in this side) than of Klopp's choice to play him in this specific setup for this specific match - easy in hindsight though!
Generally speaking I'm a massive Klopp fan as he's absolutely turned around this side and the whole mood of the club. As you say it does need to be kept in perspective, it's only one game, we don't know what would have happened if he'd gone for Lucas/ Stewart either, it's only one game in a long season, we still have Coutinho and Matip to come back etc. etc.
Onwards and upwards lads, it hurt badly but let's get back to focussing on the next game and supporting our boys and hoping we beat the Mancs!

I dun understand why Klopp doesn't have the balls like pochettino to field our reserve players in BPL matches? Pochettino played winks who isn't half as good as Stewart, Ejaria or woodburn.

I really rate Stewart as well, but Lucas for me to start that game.
Easily said in hind site though your right, Can has what it takes to be an excellent player, but it won't be a DM.

And currently there is no other place for Can to occupy in the team. Can at DM is a carbon copy of Brendan trying to fill all notable names anywhere on the pitch.

If it is in hindsight, then automatically it should not matter as trying to incorporate it in one`s opinons makes little sense, IMO. We live and die by our decisions. Klopp was damned if he did and damned if he didn`t based on selection choices cos he will only be judged on the premise of whether we did or we didn`t win that game. There was nowhere he could win that battle at that point and that is unfair but that`s the life of a manager.

How could you say Winks is half the player to Stewart or Ejaria. Have you seen Stewart play 10 consecutive matches for any top flight team?
People mocked Dier when he was introduced and he went brilliant.
