I don't understand the benefit to Liverpool of letting Lucas move to Inter on loan for 6 months, when it's the last 6 months of his contract.
What's in it for Liverpool? His wages off the books? It's Lucas! I'd much rather pay his wages which are not astronomical and have him in the squad. Model professional with still a lot to offer not mentioning experience.
This deal makes no sense.

If Lucas wishes to go, he will go. I don't think Klopp would stop him if he said he wants to go. Because he has been a model professional during his time here, he deserves to decide his own future, if he does not see his future here.

This isn't a prison, and the players are human too.
