Thought both teams were awful tonight. Wijnaldum in particular had a stinker. None the less this win pleases me more than any other this season. Ed1 if you don't mind please. What was the latest sturridge injury?

Wijnaldum stinker? Thought he was one of our stand out players, kept it neat and tidy in a scrappy game. Held up well.

Gini played well imo. First merseysode derby and all. Many have lost their heads in heated battle, but he kept his cool and was steady, if not spectacular. Not sure wheee his goal threat has been this season but he is doing a decent job miblbing the ball, defending and most important, Klopp believes in hkm.

Had to read that twice thought Sturridge was injured again for a second! GW played well understated performer. There were worse performers but like you say a good win indeed.

Haven't been his biggest fan so far this season but I'm with the others in saying his was one of the calmest heads out there, recycling the ball well and playing some neat first time passes. He just seriously needs to work on his shooting though like Coop said.

Gini's experience was vital today as he a, ways kept his head and was tidy in possession. I liked him a lot today, along with Klavan, who was outstanding.

Wijnaldum was man of the match in my opinion. Kept the ball flowing all game and hardly wasted a ball. Every move we put together went through him. Not sure what match you were watching, mate.

I thought Gini was terrible tonight he was so rusty it's unreal but not bothered, we won, 3 points on to the next.
