There have been a few posts on here lately about Milners inadequacies at LB. My question is for Ed001 and those posters who watch our academy and u23's. How has Juanma been doing since he joined? Is he regarded as a first team prospect any time soon? Thanks guys.

{Ed001's Note - I have only managed to catch a couple of games, he played well enough in them to catch my eye and ask about him. According to what I have been told, he has been excellent and is expected to be in and around the first team squad by the end of the season.}

Perhaps playing Milner there has given us 12 months to have a look at him then, rather than buying a player we might not need.

Thanks Ed001. I posted in the summer when it came to light that we weren't buying a new LB that perhaps Milner was a stopgap until Klopp felt Juanma was ready. Let's hope, when he gets a chance, that he grabs it with both hands and saves the club from expensive mistakes!

If Klopp thinks Juanma may be ready by end of or beginning of next season, then I will trust him. He`s from Barcelona so he knows the expectations at a big club.

I believe he was also captain of his age group at Barca, so you'd imagine he has a decent head on his shoulders too. Nothing wrong with adding leaders to our team.

Hold on there Gmac, he's not even had a senior appearance for us let's not be calling him a leader just yet!
