What are people's thoughts on teams getting a bonus point for scoring four goals or more? (A bit like rugby)
I think it'd encourage attacking football and it would certainly be more entertaining to watch.
Ed001 thoughts?

{Ed001's Note - I think it would make it feel false. Football works as it is, why mess with the most popular sport in the world to make it more like much less popular sports?}

What's this obsession on attacking football? Is it because we play attacking football? How about a bonus point for keeping a clean sheet then? Lol.

{Ed001's Note - I think you are missing the point completely. The point is to make the sport more entertaining to watch, not more boring.}

I got that point and by some strange reasons defending is underrated on this page. A clean sheet doesn't mean park the bus from the start to go. It means you don't concede.
It has no relevance on attacking football and I guess that will make more teams a complete package.
For example 4-0, 3-0, 2-0 scorelines.

{Ed001's Note - how would it?}

Why do you need bonus points?
Goalscoring already improves your position via goal difference or goals scored.
Odd suggestion.

I'd prefer to see changes to how teams are split on the table. Goal difference us the current but would like to see it switched to somwthing like la liga where ties are broken down between each team's season results against each other.

{Ed001's Note - that is a terrible system though. Every few months there are calls to change the La Liga system to make it the same as the Prem's usage of GD and GS. It leads too often to an end of season dead rubber games because a team has no chance of moving up due to having been beaten by the team above them during the season. Look at the Champions League group stages, the last set of matches are always pointless.}

Why are people never happy with what they have? Millions watch football every week, it works as it is, and obviously it works well. Why over complicate the simplist game in the world? Next people will be calling for the basis of the game to change! Just enjoy it folks!

Im pretty happy with it as it is, Only change i'd be content with as a point system is maybe 3 points for away win and 2 for a home to stop 10 men behind the ball matches. That being said seeing a top team break down stubborn opposition is a joy to watch, just not often enough unfortunately.

As they say, don't fix it if it ain't broken, there's reason the Premier League is the most watched and exciting league in the world, so let's keep it that way.
