Firmino looks quite happy at Anfield. Obviously we will need to at the very least qualify for CL to keep Coutinho but reckon Firmino will stay irrespective.

If we are going to make any attacking signings in January then that could very well mean the likes of Coutinho will be off in the summer. Panic buying is not an option though. If we are going to sign players they have to be players who improve the first team, not those who are happy to sit on the bench.

We actually have a very good squad and our youngsters look like they can do the business too.

I guess what we all need to hope for is that we have a smashing season, finish top four and keep our jewels. We are still very much in with a chance of winning the league. Win the League and then we will have ll the power we need. Fingers crossed, this is our year.

BELIEVE!

Y do you think Firmino will stay beyond summer without CL. There has been already interest from PSG for the player. No CL means easy pickings.

Ifs and buts. That is all we have to work with at this moment.

If a player wants to go then LFC will name the price. Just happy we have a manager now that does not need to buy superstars to win things. Klopp has proven he has the ability to unearth gems and collect silverware building a team from pretty much scratch.

This past transfer window has been the best LFC have had in n awful long time. Onwards.

{Ed002's Note - Both players arrived under Rogers not Klopp. And Klopp has not won anything for years.}

I hope both stays for years mate. Coutinho is a magician. The ball sticks on his foot while Bob is the only player who could bench Daniel Sturridge in the league. Only trophies could keep elite players at the club ( of course unless you pay insane money ) .

Liverpool have offered insane money for moons. Benteke was one of our highest paid players etc. Milner is too.

What about Mignolet's new contract recently. Liverpool have spent massive amounts of cash on transfer fees, wages and agent fees in recent years comparable and surpassing the other teams with plenty of money.

LFC have been one of the worst teams when it comes to the transfer market wasting money left right and centre on players with no proper planning. Think that has and will continue to change with Klopp at the helm.

My point is that Klopp turned Dortmund around and did not spend bucket loads compared to Rodgers who won bugger all. Firmino did not even know where he was going to play under Klopp. Lallana has been completely rejuvenated under Klopp too. If Rodgers was still here then we would still be waiting for Benteke to hit the ground running.

All in all, majority of signings Rodgers made which re still at Anfield have improved under Klopp. Just have a look at Emre Can who ultimately is a midfielder, not a CB.

{Ed002's Note - You cannot compare Dortmund and Liverpool. And it was some years since he has won anything.}

Ed002 it sounds like you don't have any confidence in Klopp. Who would your preference be as manager?

{Ed002's Note - I didn't say anything like that - just explaining the facts.}

Good points Ed 002, but Klopp has proven himself capable of winning multiple titles and cups, that's not given to most managers. On the other hand we got quality in Matip and Mane, Wijnaldum looks useful and Klavan is a good squad player who was acquired for relatively little. Plus he's found the left back of the season already at the club, but who knew it before? (Rather like Conte playing Moses at WB) . Logan's point seems valid.

{Ed002's Note - 5 years ago was the last of Klopp's "multiple titles". Logan's point and attempt at comparing Dortmund and Liverpool is embarrassing.}

I was not comparing Dortmund and Liverpool in any shape or form. I was merely making point that Klopp is capable of winning things without signing ready made superstars like he did at Dortmund.

Klopp has improved just about every player he inherited from Rodgers and let's face it, the squad Klopp inherited was going absolutely nowhere under Rodgers. This season we are 3rd and within touching distance of Chelsea who can only hope Costa is going to stay injury and suspension free.

Liverpool have already exceeded expectations this season and long may that continue.

{Ed002's Note - The expectations of the owners have not been exceeded at all. They remain of the opinion that they have paid to buy the league title several times over.}

The season is far from over. I for one was not expecting LFC to be in with chance of winning the league this season. I am referring to a supporters point of view of exceeding expectations. Not FSG's.

{Ed002's Note - The evidence is that the supporters are only interested in whining and bitching whilst they trash all of the players. Fortunately the owners think more of the team than folks like you who don't think they are good enough.}

I never suggested that I do not like FSG though. I am actually very happy with what they have done for the club since arriving and would not want to see them leave.

Again, I am looking at supporters point of view of how we have progressed this season under Klopp and I am pretty sure FSG are happy at this point that we re only six points behind Chelsea and not even half the season has gone compared to last season. LFC's improvement under Klopp this season has been fantastic to watch and here is hoping that continues.

I don't see Hamilton, MK Scouser, the irrepressible Ron Keague etc doing massive amounts of bitching and whining. Logan's post was positive in terms of the squad and the transfer policy having improved. Some were too negative after the Burnley defeat, some too positive after the recent good run. I think that's human nature.

As far as I can see we are doing very well. Not too far off the pace, a few cock ups but so have City Arsenal Tottenham Man U and even Chelsea early season.

Injuries haven't done us any favours but that's part and parcel of football. Back to winning ways against boro ynwa.
