Last night, Carragher basically reiterated what I said in my post on Sunday. When our team does not press enough, the defenders are exposed. The only difference is that HE blames Karius while I blame the defenders as well. I say when the team is not playing well, the defenders, including the keeper, should do their job properly.

Even our midfield isn't that good when protecting our defenders. Once sadio came off Bournemouth didn't fear us anymore and decided to attack us in numbers and they were easily bypassing our midfield.

"I`m sure Jaime Carragher has been criticized at least once in his playing career" - Klopp. Perfect response. Did he blame Reina his first season when his two blunders nearly cost us the FA Cup in 2006, amongst his several errors that season? Didn`t think so. The players in front of Karius were at fault for not continuing to play and press with intensity, all the things that got us the 3-1 lead. Blaming Karius alone is a pathetic red herring.

Carragher has been speaking abit out of his ass recently regarding his comments on us. I'd take no notice and form your own opinion. The difference was Matip on how defensively bad we were.

Kopitef I don't think you can flick a switch and suddenly they go from be scared to not just because Mane went off. They had to go for it and we allowed them to by not being aggressive or intense enough. The second goal was key, it got the crowd going and in turn got their tails up at a time when our intensity had dropped. That's what the best keepers are paid the big bucks for and on this occasion our keeper let us down. Let's hope he learns from it and improves for the rest of the season.

Spot on, Big Al. He seems to be regurgitating the same media BS that poor excuses for pundits make. Not saying he should support us in his comments. just saying he should be coherent in his statements which if you read them in the Daily Fail, made very little sense.
