Is it true that Klopp been told by Michael Edwards to use the VIP customer discount for
Van Dijk purchase? Apparently at 25mil after 25% off.

Although it is another soton player i feel van dijk is a really good defender and has potential to get better. he's on par with most of the defenders in the prem league on current form.

We haven't done too badly with other soton buys eiher. Lallana, Clyne, Mane have been excellent

Jury still out on Lovern tough.

Eds how would you rate Van Jijk? I've not seen much of him to judge. Would he improve our defence? Is he needed (should sakho go) ? To me I'd like to look at Gomez a little more but what do I know. Biggest question is, are we actually wanting this player or is it just another daft rumour.

There are better defenders who would not be as expensive as Van Dijk we could pursue in summer. I don't really get the infatuation with him to be honest.
