Out of all the players to play against Liverpool who was the one you most detested? I would have to say Rooney.

1.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 20:49:06
All the utd squad.

2.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 20:50:42
Tough one: probably someone like John Terry.

3.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 21:00:33
Raheem Sterling would be up there for me.

4.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 21:14:53
Every United player since 1992.

5.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 21:31:19
Evra and Terry.

6.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 21:46:50
Bryan Robson closely followed by Paul Scholes . detest isn't a strong enough word for Fergie.

7.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 21:32:52
Every Utd player ever, but in particular, G Neville and Cristiano Ronaldo, followed by Giggs, Scholes, P Neville, Ferdinand, etc.

8.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 21:53:42
Gary Nev, Evra, Rooney and now the player I can't stand is Valencia.

9.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 22:02:29
It's got to be Fellaini. Hate him.

10.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 22:11:51
Clinton Morrison. Followed by Lee Bowyer.

11.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 22:23:08
Can't stand Mirallas, Jack Wilshere and Coquelin but surely the yard dog Fellani is the worst of the bunch.

12.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 22:32:21
De gea because he Always plays well against us. Haha.

13.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 22:23:08
Can't stand Mirallas, Jack Wilshere and Coquelin but surely the yard dog Fellani is the worst of the bunch.

{Ed025's Note - i see a bit of a pattern developing here guys...its definitely a united thing...the green eye of the little yellow god comes to mind, i actually liked watching united in their pomp, whats not to like about attractive attack minded free flowing attacking football?...and you call everton supporters bitter.. :)

14.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 22:44:01
Olsen (wba) fellaini herrera RVP, mirallas, shawcross, vardy basically all those mardy little cowards that deliberately look to injure opponents whether it's stamps, elbows and other dark arts. There's lots others no doubt that I've currently forgotten but you get the picture.

15.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 22:46:53
Dwight Gayle.

16.) 16 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 22:51:23
Lucas Neill.

17.) 17 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 23:02:36
El hadji Diouf = dog.

18.) 17 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 23:06:57
Fellaini
Joey Barton
Diouf

And once Funes Mori plays against us again after thumping his badge following his season ending tackle on Origi, I'll add him to the list.

19.) 17 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 23:26:21
C'mon people, surely it can only be Garry Neville?

20.) 17 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 23:28:15
Fergie for me.
When we weren't doing that well he used to say that the Arsenal or Chelsea games were more important, just to get at us.

Gary Neville who for all his faults strikes me as an honest lad has said since that was all bulls? t and that the games against us were the most important games of any season.
Fergie is a nasty piece of work.

21.) 17 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 23:34:39
Shawcross, the guy is a thug. Has nothing to do with his ties to United either, he's just an out and out thug, much like Maroane Fluffyhead.

22.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 00:51:53
RVP. had such a subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) unsportsman-like behaviour and loved to complain.

Evra was also a piece of waste.

Maroane is tolerable purely for the fact that plays dirty football because he hasn't figured out how to play actual football which is hilarious.

23.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 01:19:06
Drogba - just an absolute nightmare, and kept me on edge for about two hours before and after the game.

24.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 04:03:33
Me, that Newcastle defender, whom I forgot his name. Reina was sent off in that game. I think he plays for Leicester now. Simpson.

25.) 17 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 22:59:36
Ed 25,
Green eyed monsters? Why on earth would we be jealous of a club that employs a sound engineer to ramp up the atmosphere. Be jealous of a team that moves season ticket holders in order to create a singing section. Send out letters to season ticket holders complaining that the fans don't get behind the team enough. Support a club that has floated on the stock exchange twice, a big factor in funding the recent success. An institution.

Green eyed monster? I'd rather support warrington town

😂.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know why myself nicky!, but there does seem to be an obsession by liverpool fans towards united and a hatred that seems unhealthy to me, im not saying its one sided as united fans can be as bad at times but maybe if you win the title it might change mate..

26.) 17 Nov 2016
16 Nov 2016 23:22:40
Utd have been entertaining in the past, Ed25 (about 8 years ago) but that doesn't stop the players being a foul bunch.
Having said that, i love seeing Costa having decisions go against him and I've been meaning for years to get a screensaver of John Terry sobbing.

{Ed025's Note - i dont know about a foul bunch annie, liverpool have had their share of unsavoury characters in the past though, i remember the likes of souness, smith, case and co who should have spent time in prison for what they committed on a football field mate.. :)

27.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 07:30:49
Costa right up there in that he could stamp on any of our players at any time because he's an absolutely reclusive man.
Controversial one, but I was quite fond of Gary Neville, in a way- one club man, became captain, very good defensively- with Neville I would say you are blinded by the fact he played for united if you hate him.

28.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 08:10:26
I want to say my support for Liverpool isn't defined by hatred of anyone, and yet I remember instinctively disliking utd before I was a Liverpool fan, and that was well before Fergie.
I went to school in Manchester and have worked in both cities, one comes to realise that Liverpool and Manchester are like two brothers that don't get on.
G. Neville and Scholes were great players for whom I have respect. The players I loathe are the thug Fellaini, who should be sent off in the pre match warm up, Costa the poisonous wind up merchant and Bowyer, who seemed to be just a twiglet.

29.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 08:14:07
arshavin and berbatov.

30.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 08:24:03
Gary Neville is an interesting one, I hated him as a player but now working on punditry he is actually quite likeable. People should understand that he loves united as much as we love Liverpool so if I played for Liverpool I'd act like him towards united. But yeh anyway pretty much agree with any of the players listed above all rats 😂.

31.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 08:50:55
Sorry to go against the thread of hate but i think its pretty strong to hate people doing their job. let's say there were players i did not enjoy playing against us due to their sheer excellence but wouldn't go as far as saying i detested or hated them.

Cantona was one, that was just pure jealousy tho because i loved the way he played and wished we had bought him. Err then there was ronaldo, partly because of his imperious nature and he always stuffed us. But having seen the documentary on him i feel i understand his motivations a bit more and have sofened towards him a lot.

Funnily enough although i did not enjoy fergies taunts during the 90,s i actually liked a few of their players, namely andrew cole and dwight yorke. Haha sorry lads.

32.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 09:53:23
Robbie Savage and Dennis Wise, absolutely zero talent.

33.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 10:04:02
beachball is my worst enemy.

34.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 11:18:26
I agree with the usuals (Terry, Costa, Feileini, etc. ), but for some reason, I utterly detest Ashley Williams. Gets on my last nerve, and always has that smug look on his face. Maybe something to do with his nasty comments on Suarez. Anyway, that's just me.

35.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 13:31:49
Shocked this has had so many answers without anyone mentioining Shearer. Nice enough bloke nowadays, but during on the pitch he made Suarez and Costa look innocent!

36.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 13:57:54
Not a player, but a manager for me, Mourinho, for the way he goes about things, the tactics he uses, blatantly instructing teams to waste time (Porto v Celtic Uefa Final, Liverpool v Chelsea 2014 spring to mind, fair play his tactics got him the results but doesn't mean u have to like the style) . His neverending crying of the "ghost goal", no it was a goal, the ref gave it, simple, and just the general way he winds others up always criticizing. To be fair i quite liked his Chelsea team 1st time round, it seems a long way off from the way he and his teams are now though.
Neville is a good shout just for the badge kissing moment alone but have to respect his passion and love for Utd and he is quite good with Carra on MNF.

37.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 14:06:55
Demba Ba? Lol.

38.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 14:08:21
Demba Ba was a slippery character! Lol.

39.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 08:38:20
Rooney, Big Dunc and Fallaini for me. And Ed 025 if you don't understand the hatred that flows both way between Utd and Liverpool then you don't understand football. Nothing to do with envy just a local rivalry. If you asked Spurs fans it would be all Arsenal players, Celtic it would be all Rangers. That's football mate and I love it!

{Ed025's Note - i get the rivalry pip what i dont get is the hatred, there is enough hatred in this world without it ruining football mate, justifying by saying others do it just means there are more morons out there than expected..

40.) 17 Nov 2016
17 Nov 2016 17:43:14
Managers are easier : Public Enemy # 1 = Mourinho followed by Warnock and Fat Scam.

Can't believe so many people responded to this post.

Hatred really does bring people together.

I'd have gone with Drogba as a player I used to hate us playing against as he was a top forward in his prime and a nightmare to try and contain - certainly wouldn't say I hated 'him' though lol.
