Alot of talk regarding Sturridge off elsewhere, yesterday it was West Ham and Stoke, today it's Spurs.

Obviously I hope this isn't true, to me he should be here atleast another season.

Eds should he go, would you expect us to get a replacement in? If he oes it'd leave us a little short especially with young Ings injured for a large period of time. Maybe a bit too early to talk about it as nothing is concrete.

Bare in mind personally I don't think he's going anywhere, but what do I know. Is he happy at the club?

{Ed001's Note - I don't expect him to leave in January. If he did leave, yes I would expect a signing to replace him.}

I think a move to Spurs would suit him and Spurs. Not a great one for us though unless we are massively remunerated for it which Levy doesn't have a great history of. Then again he did spend £30 mil on Sissoko so based on that I'd say £60 mil would be a fair price?

It's up to the player but I'm sure he's not happy to be playing a bit part and Origi could make it more uncomfortable for Sturridge.

Don't get me wrong if we got 60m for him I wouldn't moan and tbh these days it doesn't sound far fetched.

I would be gutted if he goes, he is such a quality player. Really is one of the best strikers in the world. Even the great Pele thinks he is up there with the best. Keep hold of him if we can, but if we can't, I would want someone paying a hell of a lot.

Nick I don't see a point in keeping a player that doesn't fit with the philosophy that Klopp has engrained in the squad. I think Sturridge is one of the best in the league but don't think he can utilise his talent in the current Liverpool team. he's one of my favourite players at the club but I think his time is up. In fairness he would thrive in most squads in the league and my biggest fear would be him coming back to bite us. I still think a summer move would be more likely.

Just my opinion.

I doubt it will be more than £20 million, probably around 15 .

Does anyone else think that Origi has gone back a bit from last year?

I know he's been on the bench a lot but when he has come on he doesn't seem to have had the same impact on the games.
I know the team is doing better as a whole but I was expecting a bit more from him.

You probably didn't watch Origi against Spurs.
I wouldn't mind if Sturridge goes to a team outside England. If it's an English team, it shouldn't be one of the strong competitors.
And I'm probably the only one that wouldn't want a replacement for him if he leaves, because of Origi. He showed last season that he's ready to step up.
