So much talk about the positive effect no european football has on our potential title challenge, but is this all talk? Has it ever helped us win a title before? The majority of title winning clubs in the PL seem to have also played euopean football when they won. Is it maybe just that we have the best squad currently?

I believe with the squad we have, we'd still be in the position we are in even if we were playing european football, when we're playing as good as we are I believe we could play as good even if it was 2 games per week.

To me it's kinda like saying, we get CL football next year we won't do well in the league, it's nonsense. Like you say 'The majority of title winning clubs in the PL seem to have also played euopean football when they won' Exactly mate.

Dont get me wrong I do understand people saying all we need to concentrate on now is the league due to no european footy but even if we did have it, it wouldn't change much I don't think, I think we have a fantastic team who are more than capable. If other top teams can do it we can do it.

That was the only excuse we have had in past years to moan about. The midweek games and long travel. One game a week and we should be looking at the league.

Two team's without European football top the league at the moment. I don't think it's the only reason, but it definitely helps.

It helps BUT it is not the only reason as if it`s that was as cut and dry as many think, why is West Ham not winning the PL every season?
