Adam Lallana is currently bettering his Southampton team of the season form and it is testament to the work he's put in plus his willingness to learn. He's always been a player in a Liverpool shirt up until this season that you felt had the tools to succeed but for some reason couldn't utilise them. He is blessed with wonderful technique, balance, agility and dribbling ability and he can easily weave between 2 or 3 players at a go when on song, not to mention him being two footed which is always a bonus as it makes you very unpredictable. There was a reason pundits were fawning over him and saying he wouldn't look out of place in the Spanish side when he got into the team of the season, he certainly always had the ability. This season has seen Lallana pass the ball more quickly into the front 3, look up to find the right pass instead of running down blind alleys and better utilise his wonderful ability. He is even getting into the box for goalscoring opportunities with regularity now, which if you recall was something he threatened to do last pre-season but couldn't carry it into the season. He has definitely been one of our most important players, he is also key to initiating our press too and is even performing for England. Long may it continue.

I wouldn't have been too sad to see him sold this summer, always looked like a player that was never going to reach that Southampton form with us, like you say though he's probably bettered that form this year, amazing really how a player can be turned round completely in such a short space of time, thing is, klopps done it with more than just Lallana, you can add Milner to that list, coutinho and firmino have gone up a level as well.

Had my doubts but Klopp never did and to be fair to the lad he has been brilliant this season. I don't know why but I feel our more mobile team has helped him and taken the pressure off. When you think we've swapped immobile Benteke for Billy Whizz Mane its made a huge difference.

I think Wijnaldum has helped him too but I know a lot of people can't accept that.

Good post lil mag!

I personally have not been his biggest fan but i must hold my hands up and say i didn't want him in the team but right now he's one hell of a player for club and country.

Confidence just oozes from him, from our team and as u say long may it continue!

Yeah I really like Wini as well, he's doing well but with more time under his belt he'll be fantastic.

Klopp playing players in the best position to help the team, simples.

Most managers would have put Lallana or Wini in the top three positions; Klopp is playing them deeper where their workrate helps the difference and their ability to get the ball to the front three and exploit space.

All Klopp needs to do is learn how to beat a well organised parked bus and the season may turn out to be a good one!

Couldn't aggree more mate, we have dominated the majority of games we played but the utd one stands out to me, they parked the bus big time, we need to figure out how to get passed that, but all in all, everythings good, we will learn. It's all progress.

{Ed001's Note - we did ok with that against Chelsea, West Brom and Watford....}

We didn`t have a problem damaging the buses Ed01 mentioned so I think we`ll be fine. The Utd game was down to us not being out our best for the full 90 and that can happen at times. I personally have moved on from the game and I think many people should do the same.
