Question for Ed002:
You have mentioned number of times that Coutinho is interested in leaving the club for Barcelona or PSG. Is this a trend you see continuing with South American (and to some extent Spanish) players irrespective of the club's improved performances or can you see them actually wanting to stay if LFC start winning titles on a regular basis in the future?
Chelsea and Man City have done a very good job of keeping their star players out of the clutches of Barca, Real, PSG and Bayern so can you see LFC doing the same?

{Ed002's Note - Players want to be playing at the highest level that they can and want the opportunity to win leagues and play in the Champions League. It really is nothing new. Liverpool are playing in a very competitive league which makes it all the more difficult to sustain success with the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United competing as well.}

Fully agree with you and I find t disappointing if this is the mentality of top players today.
They can stay in a competitive league or o and play for PSG and be able to walk it, or Real and Barcelona and have a couple of tough games per season.
Sad indictment of the modern game.

Nothing to do with league. Hazard and Aguero has been in with their same team from years now. KDB, Pogba, Sanchez, Ozil and majority of the high profiles names are in the PL. In fact except the MSN and Ronaldo everyone are in the PL.
It's about success and titles. Our past record is poor for elite players to get convinced unless you fill their pocket with high wages.
Look at Spurs for example. Struggling due lack of quality in the side.
