According to john motson chelsea was a better display than lfc vs forrest in 88. And believes if it was a love game (which it was on bt sport) people would be talking about it for weeks. Discuss.

I feel the same btw ed and for me it was and excellent display from pedro, hazard and costa, whereas in 88 the whole team were just on it. He also thinks we should not look anywhere else for this years champions. We shall see motey, we shall see.

Motty may have been a good commentator, but I never thought he was particularly good at analysing teams.

Ron I've always thought he was a shocking commentator. Used to have to mute match of the day after it took him about 10 minutes to notice Henry scored a backheel!

Hazard against Everton reminded me of messi.
He was that good.
It just shows that when you have a
manager that believes in you and plays to your strengths you look a different player.
Compare Hazard at the wweekend to any performance he made last year under mourinio. You wouldn't believe it was the same player.
