I've seen you talk often about players you've met so I thought I'd ask did you ever meet Yossi Benayoun? If so what was he like? I always thought he was a wonderfully gifted footballer with a quick brain and feet to match. Underrated in my opinion

{Ed001's Note - I have never met him, sadly. I did love him as a player, not just for his ability but for his workrate and desire. He just never seemed to stop. I agree very underrated. I certainly had never realised how good he was until we signed him.}

Remember that goal he scored against Fulham in the 90th at nil nil? 08/ 09

We almost won the title that year if not for spurs to give up a 2 nil lead and that macheda goal.

Not as painful as 13/ 14 though.
