Are their people having a pop at Karius after last night?
He's a new keeper, new to the club and new to the premier league. Give him a chance to adapt.
Last night was our first premier league clean sheet and against a rival. We should celebrate that fact rather than pick out the keeper's weaknesses. He should use the clean sheet as something to build his confidence on and shouldn't have to re-live his errors. Let's get behind him! Brucie often made mistakes but was one of our best ever keepers. Let's build the lad up and stop knocking him. 😎.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, he broke his hand coming out to clear a cross, that is clearly bothering him every time he comes out. That confidence should return over time, if the coaches do their job. I am more worried about the coaching for goalkeepers than I am the keeper right now. Achteberg is a genuinely nice guy, but he is a novice goalkeeping coach still getting all his badges, Liverpool's first team should have the best, not learners.}

Is he still getting his badges? How long has he been at Liverpool now? Seems and age.

{Ed001's Note - I don't know how long, but he got a badge in the summer, I think it was the A badge if I remember correctly.}

Exactly Ron, the kids new, he needs support instead of been judged (already) by so called fans. I say keep playing Karius, he has to adapt, he can't adapt been sat on the bench, I think Klopps doing the right thin playing him and I hope it continues. The lad could potentially be our #1 for years.

No improvement in Mignolet in three years and now Karius looking shaky only points to the coaching they're getting. Football is a ruthless game now and sentiment is in short supply. Someone at the club must have observed the perceived poor coaching of the keepers and the need to move Achteberg on. There must be a top class GK coach out there surely.?

I definitely think we should be talking about Karius, last night may have been our first clean sheet but you can't say it was because of him and if he had had Mignolet written on the back of his shirt people would not be being kind right now. Utd's most dangerous moment came when Karius made a wayward 8-yard pass and Klopp went bezerk when his pass went out of play in the last minute. If you judge purely on this season Migs has played better than Karius.

Klopp has a decision to make in the short term, does he stick with Karius and hope that he gets over these early nerves or does he bring back Migs who we know is not top class but may be a better option right now?

Muscat, you are wrong. Mingo has had three years unchallenged to make the no.1 spot his own and he has squandered it by being an error prone GK with errors, goals and points that he has cost us reaching in the double digit mark. You are picking and choosing the two things he did wrong instead of taking into account his overall body of work which is is only worth 4 games. How can you judge a player after 4 games? That doesn`t make sense. Now you want Mingo back in after many wanted him gone because he`s been okay for a few games, all after being woeful for three years? Really? Ed is right as he may still be smarting from the injury he sustained when coming out from a cross in preseason but unlike you and others, I am happy to give him time (at least as much time as Mingo had) to prove us wrong or right rather than judge the boy after four measly games. Had Fergie done that, De Gea would have been shipped out long before now. Klopp believes in the kid and he needs to be supported and not binned after 4 games for a keeper who has been hapless through out his LFC career.

hamilton, i suspect you read the first line of my post and flew into a furious rage. I haven't 'binned' him. I've pointed out he hasn't started well and asked the question if bringing migs back for the short term may be advantageous for the team.
P.s. Stop invoking De Gea, the argument that something may happen to one player because it happened to a different one is not logical.
