These comments about missing players are ridiculous. It would have made zero difference in the performance or result. Lallana and wijnaldum are not a Messi or suarez. Those players the only players in world football capable of changing that result. Mourinho made it into what it was.
Lallana came on and played decently and I wanted him in but it was not a great game at all
For our players that did play, they did okay under the circumstances and uniteds set up
Mourinho imo got united a great result.

I thought anyone for Can would have done much better in the first half. The thing is we don't have that special player who could hit one from 30 yards out when there is a 10 men walk in front of you. Nor we have an Alonso who could split any defense in the world with the sublime passsing range.

You could blame all the front 3 as much as you could hit unless you don't provide service from midfield they would always look toothless no matter what.
Lallana did that after coming on while Can showed y he would never become a top class player.

Did Lallana not change the game when he came on. How would he have done if he started?

De Gea got Man Utd a point tonight - simple.

The Irish Rover and Ron - spot on.

He probably did Ron but it was an awful game. Your usual 4-3 win was safe. 😉.

Ron 100% as usual.

We do have that special player that can hit a worldie from 30 yards, Coutinho, yes he can be inaccurate with them but it's certainly in his locker.

Agreed.
100% correct.

Plus you'll never win a prem. Or champs league without a top top keeper.

I know Karius is young and its his first year but he's got a lot go work on.

I thought mane went missing tonight fo a good while but Jose really set out to stifle everything.

Last year we'd have lost that match to a set piece.

So a lot of positives but plenty to work on.

Irish true. But more so would origi would have done imo instead of Sturridge who was completely off.

Can first game back after a long spell out, so let's not slate the lad. Utd were well organised, but didn't offer much after 30 mins. Dire game though with Coutinho/ DeGea offering the only moment of real quality.

Man Utd would be in a world of hurt (and would have been over the last few years) if De Gea didn't exist. One Utd player I do have a lot of respect for.

Stud came not to play and that can be expected because it is what Mou does. Where we off to the races? No. Where we better in the second half and dhalf served to score and win? Yes. It didn't happen and remember, Utd had a LOT more to lose than us and played like it. I'm happy with a point because games vs big clubs don't decide the outcome of a season. It is games like vs West Brom come Sat at home, that are the must wins.

strongly disagree, it would have made a world of difference, we were already looking better when Lallana came on. Who did we have in midfield? Hendo, a very rusty Can and Coutinho out of position. You don't think it would have made a difference if two of our best players thus far this season were on the pitch from the start? Midfield is exactly where United stifled our game in the first half.
