Hi Eds,

In an interview with Rob Jones he said "What I will say is that in the U16s we've got a really big talent. In fact, I'd say there are two with potential to be a star. " Any idea who these players are Eds?

{Ed001's Note - I am not up on the current crop of U16s, I will have to ask. It is difficult to be sure, as there are players that are eligible to play with the U16s that are in the U18 set up that he could have meant as well. So he could have meant someone like Woodburn or the lad we got from Citeh (Camacho?).}

Cheers for the insight Ed001. Woodburn did look great and full of confidence during pre season. Our youth looks a lot brighter compared to 10 years ago when we were hoping Craig Linfield and Paul Anderson would make the grade!

Camacho was the stand out player for the u18s the only time I've managed to watch them this season in the 4-1 loss to Everton he was a very very good right wing/ wing back/ right back on the day.

Hi all.

I just wantef to add about Rob Jones and what a great full back he was.
Sadly injury shortened what could have been a. stellar career with LFC.

I don't think We have had a better full since.

He's one ex player you like to hear is involved in the youth set up.
It can only be positive.

Just signed a pro contract so don't know if he counts as u17. But he could be special.
