Player for player Spurs have a very good side and a good manager, but I wasn't impressed with them against us and I'd still consider Man City the title favourites because I think they'll drop the least number of points against sides outside the top 6. That'll be enough unless the majority of their performances against the other top 6 sides are like today's - but I don't think they will be.

Arsenal will do what they've done for the last decade: be in around the top of the league but not win it.

And at the (slight) risk of having to eat my words in a couple of weeks, Man U don't concern me at all.

Did we not beat Arsenal away and draw with Spurs away, so what does that make Liverpool then, I'm guessing not a threat.

Sid, I think Big Al was talking about Arsenal and Spurs being threats to our title aspirations, which would naturally involve the assumption that we're a threat for the title, hence why he didn't talk about us.

Spurs without dembele is crap as hell. Player to player whose better than ours? Danny Rose vs Milner, Walker vs Clyne or Wanyama vs Henderson? Firmino is better than their whole starting eleven.

Dembele didn't play today. Hmmmmm!

Sweet chin, are you for real? Firmino has a few silky touches in him but he has hardly set the Premiership alight has he. He wouldn't get in the spurs 11, no chance. Whilst we play better with Dembele, we haven't exactly been missing him and now have enough depth to cover his absence.

The only player from Liverpool that would get in the spurs team is Coutinho.

Haha oh dear Ellis, not Sturridge, Clyne, Matip, Milner, Henderson, Lallana (Who you wanted to sign) then? Firmino would walk into your team in about 4 positions.

Spurs were awesome today but can they keep it up all season along with Europa league?

Man City lose about 10% on their performance when De Bryune is out. He's a class player.

Ellis dee your comment makes no sense and you have made yourself look daft mate.

The Shrewsbury red has hit the nail on the head.

I wouldn't swap Firmino for ANY player currently at spurs, you can have them lol there's no doubt your playing decent, which is fair play but as demot285 states, can you keep it up? No chance, you may well get top 4 but I seriously doubt it.

But yeah it shows how much you know, Firmino is arguebly better then Coutinho, though I love Countinho, I think Firmino is that tiny bit better and improving all the time.

Liverpool are nowhere near the title this season. I'm sure I'll get slaughtered for that statement and really hope I'm wrong, but we just don't have the defence or consistency, particularly when teams park the bus!

Top 4 would be awesome.

It doesn't matter if u do get slaughtered mate its your choice not to believe, I for one think we have a really strong team with great work ethic strong fitness and will defiantly challenge this year.

Was Spurs really that good or did PEP set up to make them look good? I mean he made donkey Wanyama seem like a player and Sissoko world class. We all know that Pep heavily needs his team to hog the ball in order to win without it the left with a lazy group of players who are just that lazy and would need Kevin De B its scary. Spurs will always play with a high pressing system with plenty of energy. No ways City was going to stand a chance nothing about them having better players lol.
