I heard on sky sports news this morning that, we have yet to score a premier league goal with a reconsider striker. That's impressive considering we have 16 goals to our talk so far. When you look at other top clubs such as city, United, and Chelsea, they all have a striker providing the most part of there goals. So I was just thinking imagine we could get sturridge or origi in the team consistently scoring, and how much of a difference that would make to our title chances. The fact we are already considered such an offensive threat without an inform striker just excites me so much for this season and beyond.

Firmino is a striker.

Problem is, I wouldn't dare change things at the moment, we're doing so well. Keep it How it is, it's working.

Didn't we have recognised striker for the past 100 years plus? Yet this team has outgunned them all at this stage of the season.

Frimino is a striker, Mikey is right. The clue is him playing up front.

Agree with Mikey that Firmino is a striker.

However, I am pleasantly surprised with how we have spread the goals around - in the league we have 4 players with 3 goals (Countino, Lallana, Mane and Milner) with Firmino then weighing in with 2 so far. That's 14 of our 16 league goals from 5 different players. Gives us plenty of strength in depth should one or two either be injured or off the boil (excepting Milner of course, we NEEED him! ) .

Another reason to be happy :)

Ings is the only striker who could match the Firmino up top in terms of work rate

Origi was quality when he came in last season looks to me he is a big confidence player (maybe due to age) dunno if he could match the two above for closing down

Sturrdige has the quality but not the bottle or work rate.
