Hi Ed,
From some of your earlier comments, you seem to be pretty impressed (or at least satisfied) with Milners performances so far at left back. Presumably, we will look to get a natural left back in at some point - would you see Milner as being a better future option at right back than Clyne? Would he be better than Flanagan? Or do you think the club would eventually look to move him on?

{Ed001's Note - possibly he could be a better option than Clyne, but it depends on how happy Milner is playing there. I would take Flanno all day and every day in that position though. Sadly I do think the club will sell Flanno, though I would like to keep him.}

Edd001 shouldn't milner be happy to play anywere in a good team under klopp earning what he's earning? Milner seems the tap of lad were he will play anywere. He has a great attitude.

{Ed001's Note - well he is not happy playing left back mate, he will put up with it in the short term, with the hope he will grow to enjoy it, but he might never grow to like it.}

Haven't posted in a long time and had to make a new account as I forgot my login, but I can understand how Milner feels. IN my younger days I always was made to play keeper, not to brag, but I was quite decent at it. But I did not really enjoy it, comes with too much stress. I can understand not being thrilled about a position, but at the same time if Liverpool asked I would play anywhere they wanted.

I'm a natural left footer though pretty comfortable with both. Every time I ever signed for a new club the managers eyes would light up at having a left footer and stick me on the wing or LB when I'm a CDM! It is extremely frustrating.

I have to say I've been very impressed with Jimmy at left back. Fair play to the lad, happy with being there or not, it doesn't show on the pitch and he has put 100% in every game.

YNWA.

Stuie_boy, was you any good in those positions? and how difficult was it disciplining your head and body to act as lw, lb?

Left footers are a rare-breed. Always have been.
