Bthday wishes to Dany boy and LFC tv has put up a video of some of his goals and it pains me deep down People want him gone. His strike against Everton, the rocket against City and Jesus that dribble to score aging Aston Villa. He is a better striker than Fowler and that says a lot about his quality. He is the only striker on par with Aguero in the league and some wants him out because he doesn't run or press.
Am I the only one who want Sturridge at the club. He would walk into any team in the league. Goodness me people need to wake up and smell the coffee. Without goals you aren't winning a football match and Sturridge is the best in the business by some big Miles.

Thanks.

agree with your point about sturridge, disagree that he is a better striker than fowler.

Its a hard one hey. Some people have it and know it and want to have their bellies rubbed for it.

He is a fantastic striker. But unforunately if he doesn't work hard for the team in defense then klopps system is not 100% and it makes me kind of agree with klopp not to play him all the time. Sturrige over firmino all day technically for me. but there was instances against spurz where firmino was a wild dog hounding them to get the ball back and you would not get this from daniel.

There is no yes or no on this. Purely one striker is more adapt to how the manager wants to set up. If we had a manager who wanted a striker to sulk, be lazy and selfish then we might of kept ballotelli?

Tough decisions to make.

Sturridge on his day is brilliant, but sorry, them days are getting less, his awful display against Burnley showed this, agree he can be one of the best . Robbie Fowler tho, was an even better striker .

Fowler was one of the best of all time. No comparison. Daniel is clearly very talented but perhaps lacks the pressing style Klopp is after. He has some work to do.

Sturridge is great when he is not injured. No way he is even the same level as Fowler. The guy is a legend.
Yes Sturridge has a great scoring record but watch Fowlers goals and he was not as quick as Daniel he was just a pure genius.

Sturridge is one of the best finishers in the premier league, he's right up there with Aguero, you get the ball to him in the right area and there's only one place the ball is heading.

I think if Danny looked like he loved being on the pitch and worked as hard as Ingsy, he'd be a legend already. I think he's incredibly talented and we should be keeping him but he has a tendency to look like he's sulking (not even sure if it's real or not) and people judge him very harshly because of it.

I think it may be just because he has such high standards for himself that he always looks like he's trying to prove something, but people prefer to see players leave their heart on the pitch like Kuyt, over someone they're not completely convinced is always giving their all or respecting the Honour of playing for Liverpool, no matter how many goals.

Not saying any of this is even Sturridges fault, but I sure would love to see him blossom into not just a goal scorer but a positive and uplifting example of team spirit for the youngsters to follow. At the moment he just reminds me a little bit of that player from 'Jerry Macguire' before everyone realises what a great guy he is!

I think Sturridge is a really good striker. However, it wouldn't really disappoint me if he were to leave.
This is just my opinion, but I think he sulks too much, he's too selfish with the ball and his hold-up play isn't all that good. It's fine enough when we play against teams that we're meant to overwhelm, but in another European league final against a Sevilla where we need a forward to press, and hold up play in order to relieve pressure and to bring others into play, he would be found wanting. (Not saying he's the reason we lost to Sevilla)
I think he plays best when there's another striker to do the bullying for him because then, he gets space to do his thing. Personally, I just don't like his mentality/ sulking.
If he could be sold for a good amount to a team outside England, for me, it would be okay.
