slightly concerned with incoming transfers, can't believe we will be starting the season with glaring weaknesses. but klopp must have a plan. time to trust!

{Ed002's Note - It is indeed a pity that Liverpool didn't just buy for the sake of it as you want. Spend a lot more money - doesn't matter who on - just spend.}

I agree that there's no need to spend for the sake of it, but Ed you can't say that the LB position is something that didn't need to be addressed.

It probably did need addressing but why buy if there isn't a suitable player available at a suitable price. Maybe we could/ should have gone higher on chilwell, only time will tell. Personally overall I'm happy with our business this window. The ins look very promising. Mane I think we can all agree has hit the ground running, the defenders look decent enough so far and fingers grujic will get the game he needs. Wijnaldum was a strange one, not one one I would have bought as I would have liked to see grujic and Stewart get the game time but he adds strength in depth i guess. We've kept hold of coutinho and firmino, not sure whether there was any interest still but there certainly was at one point.
I think we've done some very good business with our outs though. We seem to have got some great prices. Alberto, skrtel and benteke are the notable ones and we've got shot of balotelli. You could say that we that there were others that should have gone and we've farmed a load out on loan again but of those on loan it's less off the wage bill and I assume we couldn't get the fees we were after for sale so it is what it is.
Overall lads it's pretty positive, you can't build a team in one window. And no need to give me post of the night edd002 it's the thought that counts!

Even 'above average' left backs come at a price are not easy to buy. £23m for Xabi bro, come on wtf that all about.
