Ed002,

I was reading down the page how you said the club is a bit of a joke in terms of conduct. Transfer wise we seem unprofessional and ignorant. The problems with the decision making and running of our club seem so obvious and there are surely a number of people at fault.

My question is do Liverpool know that they are seen as a joke by other clubs and are they continuing to try and fix their problems? I know there were some changes recently but we seem to have the same issues.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool are well aware that they have lost the respect of the "elite" sides, that they have upset a number of sides due to their tapping up of players and they know that clubs are generally not interested in their players at the prices being asked - hence many of the transfers as the chaos continues.}

Instead of constantly finding excuses for our failings as well as blaming others for them, maybe the club and us fans start conducting ourselves in a better manner, hopefully then we will be able to move forward.

If we've sunk that low the only way is up.

Gutted we seemingly didn't show any interest in Steve Walsh. seems bizarre when Ian Ayre is off.

{Ed002's Note - Ridiculous - IA is the CEO; SW has zero experience of suc h a position.}

ahha. fair play, ed, I've got that dead wrong.
still think we need a proper (quality) DOF to guide recruitment, though.

Does a DOF have nothing to do with completing transfers, Ed?

{Ed002's Note - It depends what he or she is tasked with doing. In many cases they are part of the process of considering players but tend not to be involved in negotiations.}
