Eds. Is Ings hurt? All quiet except for the loan bid.
Love the player, the effort. love to fit him into the starting 11.
I've lost jurgen's cell. Can you phone him up and see if he can play left back?

Thanks for the consideration.

{Ed001's Note - no injury that I am aware of, he just isn't being picked. He is not a left back.}

I assume due to fitness reasons Ed due to his previous long term injury?

{Ed001's Note - I think it is more that he is fourth choice to be honest, right now.}

He's not even made the bench for the first three league games. Hard to see him getting any substantial minutes at all this season and wouldn't surprise me a bit to see him want to move on in January or next summer.

That's sad to hear ed, he just has to get his head down, work hard and show Klopp how good he is, something I'm sure Ings will do being the grafter that he is.

Ive a feeling that a few injuries to other players might get him some game time this season. If so, he will get his chance to shine.

its impossible to show how good you are unless you are not actually playing. ask tex, suso, and many others. as of now the formation we play in, Ings is surplus to requirements no matter how good he is. even if we sell studger ( Ings won't get game time) . unfortunately for us, Ings would have to move to help his club and England and that's a darn shame. We have strikers dying to get out there but we just can't field them. I still believe a 4-4-2 against smaller oppositions would help our cause and of course our strikers too. we have 4 strikers all of them are good, this is most likely going to be a season where we can challenge top 4 and other cup trophies. we have no european commitments. we have to try 4-4-2 or anything with two strikers upfront. our current formation worked in 2 games, did not work in 2 games, so that's 50-50. i don't see the harm in putting two strikers upfront at home against Leicester and get at them. i don't say just to field 2 strikers because we have them, i just say so because its unfair to studger ings and origi in a way because they are quality strikers. I for one cannot fathom why lallana, wijnaldum have more game time against our strikers. i just think in coutinho firmino lallana we have too many technical players (and not finishers) up the pitch. strategies are difficult to develop, moreso when you one too many players. so i'd say either sell the strikers for profit, or just find a way to get them in first team and rotate, i don't see the point in proven goal scorers not starting. i always ask myself when i see the team sheet- who has more chance of scoring - firmino, coutinho, lallana or studger/ ings. answer is pretty simple for me. anyways i guess there wouldn't be harm in trying a two striker partnership.

Shame really because Firmino ain't no striker. He deserves a run if you ask me.

He's been a regular for the U23's. Bet he's well pleased about that!

Bonkers really given the effort that went into signing him. I think he's probably got more goals in him than Firminho and would rather play an actual striker up front rather than an attacking mid.

Yeah it's a shame that he is so low in the pecking order. I would like to seem him given a bit of game time. I do miss us playing with 2 up to to be honest and i don't really see firmino as a out and out striker, he is a quality player if a little inconsistent but if i had to pick out of firmino or ings up top i would put ingsy up there every time.
