I have read a lot of negativity here and would just like to say that everyone needs to get behind Klopp and the team. Rome wasn't built overnight and patience is needed.

Matip was superb against Spurs and had correct decisions been made by officals and we had taken our clear chances Spurs would have been beaten convincingly at home. Do not forget that they have been building for longer and went close last year. We are all ambitious for our club, but we all also need to be realistic and patient.

This was the first game for Matip, Karius is to come back and Grujic is yet to play. There are lots of positives for Liverpool and Klopp is a proven quality coach who will get it right.

Believe and enjoy the ride.

Well said, it's early days yet plus our Defence will also strengthen with Karius, and our midfield with Can back.

A close draw (and it deserved a win bar a few missed opportunities) away against a side that came second last year is a good result in the course of a season. Yes Burnley was a shock, but 80% possession on any other day and we'd win more than we lose and we'll learn from that experience.

We get behind Klopp but is Klopp getting behind the fans? 5 pts adrift of our old rivals in only 3 games is simply not acceptable. The title would be out of sight by christmas.

{Ed001's Note - that makes no sense.}

Which part make no sense? In every season the title contenders make good start to season and build from that good start.

{Ed001's Note - you didn't say that at all and that is utter bollox. Man Utd never used to make good starts under Fergie. You really do not have a clue about the world at all do you? It comes to something when someone can make less sense than Harry.}

100% behind Klopp and the team. Even happy for Milner to continue at LB as he was not that bad. It'll take time. Got all the time they need from me.

Would love a proper lb to be signed but trust in the squad had and Klopps management team. Looking forward to the next match .

So you're writing the season off and judging Klopp after three games, ridiculous.

Who on earth could disagree that Arsenal came 2nd last year? 🤔.

U guys may think 3 games only. But this season the competition is phenomenal unlike previous years. We have conte mourinho pep wenger pochettino ranieri klopp and fast improving chasing pack, all vying for title. 5 pts adrift of the 3 early pace setters manU chelsea mancity could very well be insurmountable lead to overcome.

I agree that it's still early and we have players to come back in so not too worried, globally. We'll see what happens and IMO, we are all fully behind the team and the manager as we can see that we are much better than we were last season especially going forward. We just need to have the midfield and defence get up to speed. Keep the faith, lads! And Ed is right, Leek. Utd rarely started off seasons fast. In fact, they often had average starts and would pick up speed after Christmas.

How can 5 points behind City, Utd and Chelsea be insurmountable after three games? We still get to play them home and away, 3 points each opportunity and they play each other twice as well.

Lee, results can only be comparable when Man Utd have played Arsenal, Tottenham and Burnley away, and we've played Hull and Bournemouth away and Southampton at home. There's nothing to say Man Utd would get more than 4 points out of our 3 games, and nothing to say we couldn't get 9 points from their 3 games.

I think some people need to chill out. The clear benefit of not being in Europe (fixture wise) has yet to be realised for us against the other big hitters, and due to this, we'll see the other clubs drop points sooner rather than later. I'd be a lot more concerned about Chelsea (who I didn't expect to perform as well as they have so far) as the season goes on, I wouldn't be surprised if they're leading the pack by Xmas.

Wow, 5 points insurmountable with 35 games to go? I'm just speechless.

We beat Arsenal, draw against Tottenham away. both respectable results so the above comment is made purely on the back of a poor Burnley game (where we had 80% of possession, we just failed to add any attacking threat - a rarity this calendar year) . Yes he others had won 3 games on the trot, but those three games weren't all away and not all against top sides.

Amazing how quick people are to write of the team they supposedly support these days.

Stop drinking if i were you redphil. Migs has been better than normal the past couple of matches including a top class save at Spurs. He might not be the answer but calling him a joke is inappropriate.
