I suppose I should wait to watch te game in its entirety before commenting but can't resist.

Mignolet, Clyne and Lovren 3 of a back 5 that have worked with the manager since November and concede 5 in 2 games.

Admittedly, looking at comments it would appear no presence in front of them again.

However, fans can see it needs fixing so let's hope the club actions it quickly.

Same old same old. Beats a team with top 4 potential then loses to a team that is relegation potential. Nothing has changed in the last 5 years. Liverpool and consistency just don't seem to go together in the same sentence.

Agger, quite simply not good enough, and it took far too long for the subs to come on, Sturrdge just couldn't get going, and give credit to Burnley, they made us play the way they wanted, like letting Milner have the ball, knowing he was going to cut back onto his right foot, we were never going to win that game, I say well done Burnley, you out thought us, you out played us . and always looked more likely to score .

Back 4 need protect regardless of how plays. We'll never have a world class back line. We need a midfielder in medel to protect it and capable of defending for us.

Edd001 cylne isn't being replaced or dropped anytime soon. We have real issues concerning our fullbacks and klopp has to look and change personel. Grujic and can have to replace Wijnaldum and lallana Imo. sturridge has to regain form and fitness quickly or face being dropped. I don't know if he was just unfit or lacked the desire today. We really need 3 players in. Lb, rb and a medel.

I really don't see the need for a DM. The team isn't defending together, that's why Henderson keeps getting overrun at times. Lallana and Wijnaldum don't work IMO.

why do you think Klopp persists with it Ed? it just seems really strange that lallana is all of a sudden a CM this year when he clearly isn't. Klopp seems to really rate lallana and I'm not sure why.

But it's also Henderson's job as part of the 3 man midfield to defend and pick up the pace of play; he was atrocious today alongside the ghost that is Wijnaldum and the tail chasing puppy that is Lallana.

If we had a keeper who could make a save, we wouldn't have conceded two. If we had a centre back who could cope with pace, we wouldn't have conceded two. If we had full backs worthy of the name, or midfield partners that do any defensive work, then we wouldn't have conceded them. To blame Hendo today is just idiotic. People need to learn to watch the game and not the ball.}

Are you slightly nervous Ed? because I am. We've yet again spent a ton of money and not invested in one of the positions we were crying out for - a left back. Couple that with the signing of Wijnaldum and some of the football we played today was really poor. I'm also nervous about Sturridge and his big dip in form since his major injury. I know i'm asking loads of questions but why is Sturridge dropping so deep all of a sudden and seems no longer capable of sprinting. I'm probably just overeacting to one game but I think we've had a poor window and could be in for another long season!

{Ed001's Note - Studger is just getting back to fitness. It takes time. He was dropping deeper because there was no space further up.}

I am not one that is on Henderson's back Ed001 and has been one of the people who have been defending the lad since he signed. To me it makes little sense to play him in that deep role as it takes away his main strengths. Today, I thought he was lethargic and lost possession cheaply on more than 5 occasions under little pressure. For Burnely's 2nd where Sturridge was disposed and they ran all the way down the other end without any real challenges, right through the centre of our midfield to score, and Henderson, like Winjaldum and Lallana should be offering more in those situations IMO.

{Ed001's Note - Henderson was left covering on his own. The question should be where was the defence? They should not have been wide open there and not needed a midfielder to protect them. Hendo was filling a gap and could only make a challenge once in the box, clearly he didn't think he could make a successful challenge and, as the defence were finally getting into place, he should have been able to pass him on safely. You are blaming the wrong player.}

In support of Ed01 and like I mentioned earlier and in the chat, blaming Hendo is so wrong. It's the same reason why people are looking for a "specialist" DM so that we can replace him. If the other players don't learn to press and tackle when we lose the ball, then Henderson would keep getting overrun in the midfield.
I really don't understand why people don't get that.

Defence wins leagues. Its old and boring but so very true, especially in our league. Klopp has to somehow try and get this defence working as a unit. i'm far from impressed with any of our defenders, they could all easily be replaced in my opinion as none of them are good enough for Liverpool and i am not basing this on todays game but over the past 12 months. I am also not expecting Matip to be our saviour either, i just don't think he is that good. The defence needed major work the summer and it hasn't been done. That is very disapointing in my opinion.

Can will come in for hendo, be exposed the same as hendo, and then people will be asking for lucas again. Failing that they'll question allen's sale.
Anyways, we are being outdone by individual mistakes in really bad parts of the pitch. We get ourselves into situations where we are acrambling in defence. That will hurt most teams. We are yet to find the balance yet.

Sorry Ed001, but Henderson was horrendous to say the least. The only play he was breaking up was when we tried to go forward. He can't pass, can't tackle, can't hold, can't score, what's the point of him? The ease with which gray passed him for the second goal was humiliating. He does not deserve to be in the team. Though Moreno got a lot of stick for the first game, Clyne was as bad if not worse in both games. Him and Lovern protecting the right side gives me nightmares. With players like Henderson, Clyne, Lovern, Wijnaldum, Milner, Moreno, Lalana, we will again be fighting for a Europa place. Klopp also needs to reel in Coutinho, ballooning 6-7 shots in the crowd when we needed to be patient to penetrate really took all the pressure off Burnley. I hope I am wrong but Klopp seems to be making exactly the same mistakes as BR before him. He has to be ruthless and get rid of low quality players. Today, Sturridge, Hendo and a few deserved to be subbed first half after 15-20 minutes.

{Ed001's Note - of course he passed him easily, he was in the box and there were 3 other players there, so he could afford to just hold his ground. Some of you really are blaming the wrong man. Every player couldn't make a simply 5 yard pass yesterday, yet you are all on the back of Henderson. I am fed up of this, this is all the same lies that were spouted about Lucas, but now you all have a new target because none of you have the sense to see that he is a victim of poor tactics.}
