Friend of mines a season ticket holder at Carrow Rd and recons Brady is good enough for a top 4 side.
Not seen enough myself to give a opinion.

He's looked good for Ireland, but that's across four different positions and international football isn't a reliable indicator of how a player performs at club level.

Certainly the only position I can see him playing for us is left back and I don't think he's good enough there to be worth going for. And as we already have about 20 midfielders at the club there's no point in buying him as a midfield option.

Robbie Brady is a mid table player at best. Awful player.

Brady might be an improvement on Moreno, but then most other LBs are.

I guarantee if Liverpool were close to signing him he would suddenly be the answer to all our problems. 'Come on lads, let's get behind him'.

Genuinely think he's a decent right back, that said I am Irish so tinted glasses but his distribution is really great and imo rarely caught out defensively. He's versatile as well and can play left and right. Not to mention his corners could offer something. No point in arguing that he was our best player at euros. I'll still say it though.

He is poor man's beckham. Cross reasonably well though.

Dyslexic moment. I meant left back. Apologies.

Anyone who calls Robbie Brady an 'awful player' has truly 'awful' scouting skills. Sure, Brady's name now carries more weight following the Euros, but anyone who has watched him regularly knows just how good he is - and was not at all surprised to see him star for Ireland.

He has been highly rated ever since he joined Fergie at Utd, and was a star at youth level for Ireland - where he played primarily as a winger. Since leaving Utd he has been converted to full-back/ sometimes winger and unfortunately has played in two very archaic/ poor Hull and Norwich sides - where to his credit, he has remained respected by the fans of both sides for maintaining good performances - earning a £7m move from Hull - and impressing again despite Norwich getting relegated, now being touted for another move. Along with the likes of Jonny Howson, Brady remained free from the brunt of blame for their relegation. He is simply too good for the Championship. (and yep, good players can play in relegated sides - even Roy Keane)

Brady is strong on the ball and maintains possession well. For me, his best position is at full back, where he is truly excellent going forward. His crossing is superb - no exaggeration - as anyone who watches him will testify. His delivery on set-pieces is also superb. He is also an excellent dribbler and has great pace. Playing at full-back gives him space to use all these attributes. He is also strong defensively, fearless, works and fights like a Trojan, and never looks out of his depth - no matter who the opposition.

Ireland's over-running by Belgium owed a lot to his absence at left-back - and that he was selected to play in a multitude of attacking roles is a testament to Martin O'Neill recognising that Brady has more skill and ability than most of Ireland's attackers (he is Ireland's record goalscorer at U21 level) . He gets the same treatment at Norwich too - sometimes playing left back and sometimes on the wing when deploying a 442. This is a waste of how his talents can be used in a more sophisticated system imo.

Brady is not a just a good player based on the Euros. Those who think this way are clearly saying so because they didn't notice him until the Euros. He was Ireland's young player of the year before the Euro's, and some of us have been impressed for some time - even since back in his days as a young winger in Fergie's youth sides - and with some justification.

If he signed for us as a left-back, I feel he would be loved. Playing there regularly would help him improve even further. He is better than Moreno by some distance, and I'd love to see it. But I doubt Klopp has been following him for long - but you never know. He would be a great signing for a lot of sides. Arsenal could do a lot worse too.

But seriously. Calling Robbie Brady an 'awful player', or even a 'poor player' is basically an admission of footballing ignorance. Nonsense.
