In the event that we don't sign a left back, do you think will Moreno be first choice? Or would the out-of-position Milner be preferred to him?

Klavas. How does noone see he will be number 2 there. Matop and lovren for the middle and klavas as lb. Played there most of his into career. Looks good aswel.

Would prefer Moreno over Milner.
But would prefer we buy a left back than play either.

Klavan would be too slow to play at left back in the premier league, yes he has played there occasionally before but he is primarily a centre back and it would not be a good decision as we're just using square pegs in round holes again and swapping one problem for another.

His name is Klavan, and he certainly has not played most of his career at Lb. He is a CB and after being converted into one from being a midfielder, has played CB most of his career.

When klavan was asked if he could play at left back by lfc tv his reply was along the lines of "who told you that? I'm a center back. I haven't played left back for 6 or 7 years" he will not play left back in my opinion. I think he'll start at center back on Sunday unless matip is fully fit. We need to sign a left back Moreno is below average but Milner at left back is far worse.

International career yes he has.

You all want hector and he is about as fast as a tractor with burst tyres, good player but pace isn't the most defining factor.

Watch his Romania highlights and he looks good at lb.

Also your all wanting Milner, can, ed001, Ian ayre at lb instead of morwno.

Wouldn't you want at least ahead of all them a left footed defender, who can and has played there in the past.

I'd prefer Clyne left and Milner right, Milner is a better crosser and the few games Clyne played left back last season, he was better. I know it's two players out of position, but with mane right, who goes inside and out, Milner should be clever enough not to overlap when mane has space, and can cross from deep well.

I will tell what i want! A left back to play in a left back position, not a midfielder, not a centre back not even a right back. I want a left back and i think we will get one but if its Moreno then so be it.

Lol genius he's estonian not Romanian. Clearly knows nothing thinking an estonian cba is a Romanian lb.

Paulo, I'm sorry but if you can't spell his name, don't know what country he plays for, and think he's played lb for most of his career, I'm afraid you've been watching the wrong player.

Please search instead for Ragnar Klavan, the centre back from Estonia, or better yet, stop judging players on youtube.

Good god. I thought you all had the iq to work out into was a lazy was of putting international, I never said all club and international career.

He played lb for Estonia for most of his international career, and his youtube clips from his estonja highlights with him at lb look good.

You're all judging hector, chilwell, amavi etc etc etc on youtube clips or without even watching them just on what people have said about said player.

You're all talking about Milner at lb, Stewart, can, clyne and so on. Yet out of all if we don't sign anyone Klavan is the absolute best suited to it, and since he has already played the position before at international level its not really shoehorning someone else.

How are we arguing about my punctuation or abit of wrong info.

Surely it is just do you not think out if whole squad that if we don't sign someone at lb, that klavan would be the best suited for that position.

Also klopp has stated he isn't going to be 4th choice, doubt matip, sakho or lovren will either.

I really feel if are actually lb whoever that is isn't playing then klavan will, the Estonian who played his club career at cb but has played a lot of games for Estonia at lb. 😉.

"You're all judging hector, chilwell, amavi etc etc etc on youtube clips or without even watching them just on what people have said about said player"

I'm the one who mentioned not judging on youtube. I have never watched or judged a player based on youtube videos (That's not true actually I've watched Maradona), nor have I based my opinions on what other people say.

"You're all talking about Milner at lb, Stewart, can, clyne and so on. "
I'm against playing every single one of them players playing at lb. Why? Because they aren't lb's, the same as Klavan isn't a lb.

I fail to see how because someone plays there a couple of times a year for his country, even though international football is a joke, you seem to think that makes him the best option for lb.

Also, he will likely start at cb against Arsenal, due to Sakho being injured and Matip not being fit. If he performs why would we shoehorn him out of position?

You trying to justify your argument by generalising everyone into a "You all want" is quite pathetic too. Make your points, don't generalise everyone else.

Am i the only one who sees the irony that some called You feels that 'you all want' is a generalisation?

Hector wasn't originally a left back, he's a converted midfielder. Stewart was originally a right back.

You don't emerge from the womb with a predetermined position. Intelligent players can adapt, that's what Cryuff's 'total football' ethos was all about. He wanted 10 outfield players that could play well in any position - all able to tackle, dribble, pass, header and shoot and all tactically aware enough to defend or attack.
Really, for the wages these lads are on, they should be at least proficient in more than one position and be capable of adapting tactically. I'm sure with the right coaching and a bit of dedication they could do it easily.
